How can we not look at past performances? Not saying they proved conclusively that we won't succeed with a False 9 again but they certainly gave us hints on whether we can do well with it. Let's not forget in that PSG away match last season for instance, Mourinho spent half of the time shouting at Schurrle because he wasn't making the right decisions as the ST/False 9. And for the sake of it, we may have lost to Juventus because of our bad defending, but nothing worked going forward us that night with Hazard as the False 9. Moreover, United's rubbish defence is one thing but if we were to play with a False 9 here, are we actually going to be effective enought to exploit their weaknesses? Playing with a proper ST and False 9 is two different things as it requires tweaks within the play and not to mention, our unfamiliarity with this. Maybe it will work on Sunday but am not buying some of the fans' mentality that think regardless of what we put out at Old Trafford, we'll walk over them because of their own deficiencies. Still gotta make sure we have good and effective approach to beat them.

I think whoever Mourinho appoints as the next vice-captain, when Cech eventually leaves, will give us a clue on who will replace Terry.

Never mind United's defence has been rubbish, our 'experiment' with a False 9, if you like, hasn't exactly been successful in the past. The PSG and United away games last season come to mind. Heck, could even mention the time when Hazard was used upfront against Juventus in Turin.

How did the linesman/fifth official deem that to be a handball offence is beyond me really, especially when he got a clear view of it, unlike the referee who was behind the action. On the other hand, watching the goals Schalke conceded really reminded me of our disastrous defending under RDM. Absolutely shocking.

Watching Balotelli's performances this season, it really amazes me how some fans wanted us to buy him. Talented but garbage at the same time. He defines enigma and walking time bomb perfectly. No one cares about Juventus.

Think there's a reason why Mourinho has so far only played Luis in European matches. Would reserve judgment on his defensive capabilites after he plays a few league games.

Think it's harsh to compare Azpi at LB and Luis at LB. One is not natural LB while the other is. You are bound to get better results when a player is played in the right position. And it's not like we have never seen Azpi making decisive contributions or attack like Luis did when he plays at RB (or even at LB for that matter when he's given the license to get forward).

That penalty decision for Schalke in stoppage time against Sporting Lisbon was a disgrace. How did the referee deem that to be an intentional handball is beyond me. What were the linesman or even the fifth official behind the goal doing?! Even that Bayern penalty against Roma was a joke of a decision.

I don't think it's negativism but rather, realism. Others recognize that Drogba is no longer the powerful force he once was and can see the limitations in him now. Never mind not scoring, he has looked sluggish and off the pace whenever he's played this season.

Maybe it's just because that we are winning games but it feels as though Mourinho has got his winning and confidence mojo back. Those things weren't always there last season, figuratively speaking.

I do not believe Mourinho's words one bit but if Costa and Remy are really out injured for this game, then we are so screwed! And it's incredible how cocky some fans have been ahead of this game, thinking we'll just walk over United like they are a Conference team.

Even though it was only Maribor, we played well. We were vibrant and looked threatening throughout. It has been a while since we last put an opponent to the sword. Another win on Matchday 4 should see us qualify already. Shame that Sporting cracked up against Schalke!
