Maybe. Maybe not. Think it was the right thing to happen when Mourinho left the time he did in 2007. It allowed him to gain experience in different leagues and even he wanted to win the 3 main leagues. If he hadn't been sacked then, he would have probably left at some point and the timeline of events may have turned out differently to the one we've experienced.

Really pleased with the performance today, almost surprising to an extent considering how flat we've been in recent games.

We already need to go out and get a striker. Why create a further problem by selling our second choice and having to buy 2 strikers instead? Besides, we also have other areas that need to be improved first before we go and tinker with a position that is relatively safe.

Still looked poor at times especially defensively but compared to some of his other appearances, it was a tad better. Showed some nice moves in the final third. Big summer ahead for him. If he doesn't improve, he'll probably be gone in January.

Remy has scored 9 goals in all competitions this season, 7 of them coming in the Premier League and a few important goals in there too (City, Stoke, Hull etc). A pretty good return considering he doesn't play very often. We better not sell him in the summer!

All he needs now is to add more goals and assists to his game...
