Was talking about the league years between 2010 and 2015. You clearly have misunderstood the point...
-
But we don't know how that will turn out yet, do we? City and United battled for the league title while we just stood and watch from afar...
-
West Brom barely putting up any effort here, almost standing off City. Just watch them play the game of their lives against us next weekend.
-
Well, the reason for that is obvious - Azpi is a right back playing at left back!

For the record, I wasn't trying to start a 'Mourinho OUT' campaign but nice of you to 'join' the 'discussion'. The contract, in my opinion, has been signed some time ago - we saw many of the media outlets reported it months ago - and the club decided to announce it before the start of the Premier League season. The deal signals the confidence they have in Mourinho and regardless of his faults, he won't be sacked unless something drastic happens with the team's results and performances. On top of that, to say we only had 1 good season under Mourinho is nonsense. We might not have won anything in 2013/14 but he took over a squad that had managed to just squeeze into top 4 and turned us into title contenders with practically the same squad. We finished 14 points behind the champions in 12/13 but only 4 in 13/14 and we didn't even have to worry about our top 4 spot that year. He gave us purpose and laid the foundation for us to become a dominant force in England again, after years of living in United and City's shadows.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33855839?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed Seems like Courtois won't get additional match ban if the appeal fails.
-
I just wonder, if Mourinho suffers his third-season syndrome and everything goes wrong again, would Roman and the board look elsewhere? I mean, Guardiola - the man who Roman was allegedly desperate for years ago - could be available in mid 2016.
-
I think it would be good if Mourinho apologizes to the physios in the public during his next press conference - similar to what Nigel Pearson did after calling a journalist an ostrich last season. He put the spotlight on the physios for no good reason and the event doesn't do him any favors either.
-
Of course, I don't disagree with that. But it's just funny in some ways after what he said and the fact that Courtois will only be suspended for one game, not three.
-
You have completely misunderstood the point. I never said Neil Ashton has written a story on it or there's one. If you remember, Ashton used to have insiders at the club, always writing pieces for Daily Mail about what's going on with the players, manager and the board (he doesn't have them anymore) and so, I just made that comment, which was meant to be tongue-in-cheek.

Two days after Mourinho praised Begovic. The club haven't posted anything about the appeal yet though.

Kevin De Bruyne wanting Man City move baffles Wolfsburg coach

Oscar was completely off form at that point of time and it made sense for Mourinho to drop him for the two matches.

You kinda just repeated what Ryan said and besides, Pellegrini is an incompetent manager as well. He doesn't how to organise a team properly and seems clueless when the pressure is on.
-
Looks great - on paper. Aguero seems to be getting a lot of injuries these days. Silva is still good but isn't getting any younger. Will De Bruyne be able to adapt to the demands of the Premier League? Sterling is still young and erratic right now. Toure blows hot and cold and if his age is anything to go by, he's already past his best. On top of that, none of the players above are really hard workers and teams can easily take advantage of that if they play their cards right.
