Let's be real, had Quagliarella started the match instead of Giovinco, Juve would have been far more dangerous in the 1st half. Giovinco just can't handle defenders like ours (besides his poor shots).

I think the thread title should have the word "Rumoured" by now. Chelsea close in on deal for Marseille's César Azpilicueta Labrune told ESPN: "I have spoken to Chelsea's sporting director and they are easy to deal with. We have told them the price and they will come back and agree it or not. We would much prefer the player to sign a new contract and extend his stay with us, but he wants to go to Chelsea and it's a good club so we cannot stand in his way."

For a similar amount of money we bought Ivanovic, back then no Chelsea fan would have expected him to be as good as he is today.

That pre-season was right after the World Cup, most of our players back then were not in their best form and we didn't have any new players except Benayoun. And why look back at what happened 2 years ago? We can always recall last year's pre-season when none of us could have imagined we'd finish 6th in the league with some humiliating results and display.

I think RDM should always have Hazard and Marin on the field together.

Of course, but I mean we didn't sign him to make some player feel less lonely or irrelevant or whatever.. Marin is ok I think, since the interviews showed that he has a good relationship with Ivanovic.
