So happy for AS Roma, my 2nd club in Europe. Kevin Strootman is some player, Gervinho is doing a Sturridge, Totti is playing like he's so much younger.. They have great teamwork and they have a great balance between defence and attack. Although Inter's goal looked legit, but I don't think it would have changed the game.

Exactly, they were flying once Mou started playing with 3 defenders. Our build up wasn't the best.. Our goals then came from their big mistakes, but we did have some input in them: Bad Norwich corner>Ivanovic header>Aerial challenge won by Hazard>Long pass from Oscar>Bassong Mistake>Goal Bad challenge from a couple of Norwich players while none was marking Willian>Brilliant goal However we didn't play bad before we got equalized, and just because Mata didn't score or assist it doesn't mean he was bad. He was ok. Willian has the talent, it's a matter of consistency now for him. Cheers!

It's obvious that Mata brings this team together when he's 100% fit. That pass to Eto'o for the 2nd goal. Andre is coming around, Willian showed signs of progress... I hope the AMs competition stays healthy throughout the season. We were lucky because the Steaua players had bad finishing. But this big win is a massive morale booster and that's the most important thing. Cheers!

Yup, it's enough because he's not 30m/Overrated Willian-ish kind of player and he should be treated like this.

Yeah we lost all those matches in the last 2 seasons because Mata couldn't track back.

Y'all praising Torres but the way I see it is that he plays better with Mata around. They have great connection. That being said, he still misses sitters which isn't good at all. Hmmm I think Willian was the worst, had more minutes but it was mostly him being fast an all.. and it looks like he doesn't know how to make a proper cross and don't get me started on his finishing. KDB has some problems of getting past defenders but his passing is still good, he made an accurate final pass to Torres which was wasted and had a really dangerous volley. Bertrand was better than Willian. I know it's early but I wish we kept Moses instead of paying that amount for Willian.

I just don't want to read things like that, if they keep appearing then so be it and I'll just happily stop sharing my opinion. It's not like I'm attacking people or wanting them to change theirs. I think nothing is illogical about choosing to be away from things that piss you off. I would love it if I can accept them without being pissed off but right now I can't. I like how you see it but I don't agree 100%, 'cause I think using examples from the past 12 months would still be relevant to the discussion when you're talking about things like consistency or creativity.

I'm seriously considering not visiting this forum anymorw if the majority keep slamming Mata (when he's not playing a lot and on his way back from an injury) and instead praise Oscar (who's had his share of mistakes as well) and Willian (who hasn't even played a full match for us yet). It utterly disgusts me. Some of you are saying that he made a mistake that led to an equalizer for Basel, but somehow forget how Oscar missed a golden opportunity to win us a trophy against Bayern. You say Oscar is a better #10, while Mata's numbers say otherwise. You say Mata did nothing against Villa, Everton and now Basel, but Oscar had many many bad games last season too! to the point some other people here called him overrated and not worthy of a place in the starting 11. Were those bad games a reason to drop him from our starting 11? No because he wasn't dropped. You guys are overreacting, we played well actually and that's more important than the 3 points. - Mourinho is responsible for all this mess, but I hope he finds the right formula that will make us a winning team. - Hazard needs a rest and we keep missing what Kevin is capable of. - We need Azpi's pace, Brana should be CB. - Mata needs to be a starter. - Eto'o has no passion for this club, he even said in his first interview that the reason he joined was Mourinho. So I'm not expecting much out of him, at least Lukaku - loves playing for Chelsea. - Don't over-hype Oscar, after that wonderful shot he was underwhelming.

Why blame the players so much? Clearly Jose is responsible for this result, the subs (especially the Cole-Torres one) were suicidal therefore our display was quite poor overall, I can't remember a single big scoring opportunity after those subs or the last time we played without a LB, and what fascinates me the most is that our most dangerous chance was from their keeper's error. I will never get the Mikel love over here, not that he's bad but I don't think he's right for this team.
