  1. 4th? I'd say 5th. Aussie Rules, rugby eague, cricket, rugby union, and then football.
  2. The pressure is on Kez, now. 9,985 posts. The big 10k coming up. 4000 is a bit of a nothing milestone in comparison.
  3. Yeah, why are we talking about them?
  4. 4000th post coming up. The pressure to make it a good one is immense
  5. Ah, I thought you were just being mean because I pointed out he'd been bested twice, not once.
  6. I am disappoint at that 'freeze in hell remark'
  7. Still better than http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum ; where they wish injury and death upon footballers. On another note, I believe the word disappointed should not exist anymore. "Disappoint" should take its place as an adjective for.. disappoint.
  8. He had a 48% winning record with West Brom. That's very good for a team of that stature. Only lost 24 out of 83, as well; hopefully he can translate that to Chelsea losing about 5 per 83.
  9. He took over a team in crisis midway through the season. No one would attempt to play attacking football in a situation like that, you'd want to improve the confidence a bit by keeping a few clean sheets. Not conceding is more important than scoring in that situation.
  10. Are you referring to the away (which is quite good) or the third (which is rubbish)?
  11. He wasn't great in the league but his heroics in the two cups cancel that out.
  12. Not really. You can't expect Drogba, Lukaku, Carroll to play anywhere other than striker.
  13. After consulting with Shane, Aiden McGeady deserves a mention.
  14. Poor Harry. He thought he'd be working for the FA, but now he has FA to do.
  15. "Scotty" is a calamity, that's pretty well known. Useless harrier in midfield.
  16. You forget Mario Jardel, in that list of Brazilian's that went rubbish after hitting 30. Perhaps even Maicon should get a look in. Javier Saviola has had an awful career if you compare it to the predictions for him. Next Maradona and all that, Pele had him in that FIFA 100 list (which was ridiculously shit, but still, he was the youngest man on that list). Now he's turning poor performances out for Benfica and according to Football Manager is a free agent soon.
  17. Whatever said and done, this is a lot better than that criminal deal they have in La Liga strangling the rest of Spanish football to death to serve the interest of two clubs.
  18. Fuck off Wenger you cheap cunt. Find another free transfer. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/salomon-kalou-keen-on-arsenal-move-883495
  19. Yes, I already said that many attackers find it far easier in the Netherlands than other leagues. Which is strange. I'll just assume that Dutch defenders are horrible. Speaking of Dutch defenders, that Ryan Donk guy was meant to be the next Jaap Stam or something. He had a great 05-07 period and Barcelona were in for him at one point.
  20. He's suited to being the big fish in a small pond. He was much poorer at Real Madrid and AC Milan. It's all fun and games smashing in 50 a season with teams like Schalke or Ajax, but essentially it's worthless if you can't do it at a proper big club.
