What I think they should do is scrap the Carling Cup for Premier League teams. More like if you want the premier league team, then put the reserve side/youth do that! England is the only country I see with 4 cups for regular team. If you make the Carling Cup the way it is minus the regular teams from the PL and add the reserves, then that would be a descent step up of competition for the reserves. As regular teams don't care much about Carling cup!

Well he would suck if he sticks with players like Kalou, Malouda, Mikel, Ferreira and such. He would need to buy new players like AVB has to do. So because of that, yes I am intruige to see how AVB would do with top players as we already seen it with Mourinho.

Well he is special, because he keeps winning in different league, and that's hard. But you are right about managing top players. I often wonder how Wenger would have done at Madrid with all those players and money? Madrid loves to play good foobtall like Arsenal....they should just hire him, and let Mourinho go to Arsenal. Yeah he will leave Real Madrid this summer no doubt about it. He had enough there. But I am of the opinion that he needs to try German League. A Bayern Munich at least. If not, then I don't see him anywhere else but City. And Mourinho has already build a reputation of a "nomad" So if he comes he might get fed up again and leave in a couple of years. Yeah when you watched a game like this and see that passion by Torres, then you can clearly see that what he was saying was the truth from the beginning. That our team is slow to build up, and that is not his type of game. We need to play a fast tempo like Spurs or United. And it looks like it will never happen with the players we got. It sucks cause Torres is getting all the stick for this pedestrian midfield. I really think if AVB does great buys for midfield and wingers in the summer, then next season he should explode. Chelsea should not marginalize Torres after the summer. He is not the problem! We can get rid of Drogba, Malouda, and Kalou. And stick it with Lukaku, Torres, and Sturridge, or buy another striker and completely throw to waste 50 mill.....

Descent win. I thought Torres was one of the best player in the first half. If we have players setting up goal chances like he did for Sturridge we will improve our goals chances. Apart from Torres first half, Ramires was again a beast in the team. Second part very sad for Ramires. We will miss him a lot. Now Romeu and Essien will have to show what they got. Great save by Cech. DL still made some childish mistake but overall doing much better. No Cahill, so I assume he might play next game? And last, Meireles in the midfield is becoming a bit of a ghost. This spot is the one to be taken over in the summer easily by whoever we get. Hopefully it will be Lucas.
