  1. Well now that we seen the full extent of support that mourinho has gotten from the club and fans then I hope he takes it to the next level. And that's to help push for a new stadium. Surely with mourinho backing it, the club should have no problem moving forward.
  2. Comment: Juan Mata £37m move to Manchester United shows that even Europe's richest clubs must accept the new FFP rules http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/comment-juan-mata-37m-move-to-manchester-united-shows-that-even-europes-richest-clubs-must-accept-the-new-ffp-rules-9086243.html
  3. A humble guy willing to give everything is a great start. I remember when mourinho was mentioning how he managed big players like ronalda, Drogba lampard and such. But that he also managed player with not great talent but great attitude for work and such. It was more like if he was talking about his players at inter. And truly he didn't have great players like that of real Madrid quality but some of them gave themselves completely to the cause at inter. It is no surprise to me why for mourinho azpilicueta has become one of his go to guys. Because despite not being as amazing as Cole, his attitude and work rate is immense. I don't know nothing about salah but I do know that if he comes with that humbleness and desire to give everything for the team no matter where he plays, he will also become a go to player for mourinho.
  4. Well what's worse? The United wanking or Liverpool? I sure do hope totteham make the top 4. Everton would be awesome but I think spurs got a better chance.
  5. Mikel best game ever for Chelsea was champions League final. After that he hasn't been that great. Thank God we got matic.
  6. Is this a loan? Or he gone for good?
  7. Yeah agree. I do feel that if the club and mourinho where to sell courtois with out bringing him back will be moronic. Selling Mata was great and understandable but this is not. He has to come back.
  8. Welcome. Don't expect much this season as he needs to adapt but hopefully by the end of the season he will be better settled.
  9. With Matic in the team, it starting to feel that the puzzle is almost complete. Just need that striker and we are set. Pity that we have to wait till the summer, but oh well.
  10. Can we send more players to Benfica? :blue scalf: But this time with a buy back clause or even on loan!
  11. Indeed he can be. We have yet to replace Malouda/Kalou, those players that offer some quality for brief moments and frustrate the heck out of you!
  12. Damn men, then your one of the few who can use a computer at your age. My grandma of 80 would not know where to start!
  13. Well at the moment Lukaku is still not ready to be main striker. His first touch is still awful. He can come back and work himself out, or continue to develop on loan. This loan at Everton was really good, regardless of what people said that he should be with us.
  14. This thread will be like this for a while. Maybe even worse....
  15. As you see for yourself give your money to a fool like mancini and your performance will be mediocre. Give it to a top coach like Pellegrini and you see great works. Spending is good and buying top players is good, but who's managing them is also good. Long live Moyes!!!
  16. What I don't understand is why are people so afraid that United will become a force because of mata? They won't! And it's because of who's managing them. Look at City for the last season. They bought a lot of talents but was able to win a title in the last minute. And after that it was more of the same, mediocre performance. After city came to their senses they hired a really top coach and in a season you can see the major changes the team has undergone from a mediocre coach to a top coach. It will be the same at United, no matter what players they get, they will always fall short because of who's managing them.
  17. Well it's mostly Gilvorak and Lionsden that have an agenda against Mourinho. I mean it's okay to question one or two things and be sad/confuse/angry about the whole Mata situation. But these two guys been at it since the first day he got here.
  18. Well since we are getting salah my interest pick in all this hostility. And being this is the political thread I was curious why Muslim, Arabic and such hate Israel so much? I will let you know where I stand. I believe in the Bible and believe when God says Israel is his people. That's all I'm going to disclose now.
  19. This would be something if he makes at Chelsea. It will be a hazardous duo!
  20. Or you mean fake replica jersey? We need to get a player from rich nations like Japan, or Korea. Look how much money gave to United from the Asia commerce.
  21. I thought he said only one? I think it's fair to say that Moses is a goner. Traore might be too soon.
  22. Here's a good article about Mourinho decision making and how this deal was good for all parties: Mata deal is best for him, United AND Chelsea It's always sad to lose your best player, with Juan Mata having been voted as such by the club's fans and players for two years running. The Spaniard is known to be popular with the board, happy in the area and loyal to the club. The sole reason for the 25-year old's departure, in that case, is Jose Mourinho. You could argue that the touted £40m is a huge contributing factor but United would simply not be bidding on the playmaker if he were in the Portuguese's plans. The fact is that Chelsea are winning matches without him. Mourinho has proven that he can contest for the title where predecessors couldn't without even playing the man that was deemed to be their strongest asset; something that he is likely to take real pleasure from. The primary reason that 'The Special One' has given for dropping the former Valencia man is a lack of defensive contribution, or at least in relation to what he demands from his players. In Mourinho's eyes Chelsea will have had two luxury players last season, and in his system there is only room for one. WhoScored.com’s statistically calculated player characteristics show that both Mata and Hazard have ‘defensive contribution’ as a weakness. Meanwhile, Oscar’s defensive contribution is ‘strong’, while Willian’s is statistically ‘very strong’. Hazard is undoubtedly Mourinho’s luxury, while Oscar and Willian are being tasked with the hard graft that allows the Belgian to flourish. It’s worked, and he’s done exactly that. Angel Di Maria played a similar role under Mourinho at Real Madrid. A tireless runner, Ronaldo's need to track back was lessened by the Argentine's work rate on the opposite flank. You could argue that the Spanish giants had two luxury players in Mourinho's attacking midfield, with Ozil playing in behind the striker, but the manager has been quick to talk up the competitiveness of the Premier League in comparison to the 'two-team' La Liga at the time. The Chelsea boss is clearly looking to press high up the pitch when possible, but also have more solidity to the side; a lack of which he may have felt cost them in recent years. Chelsea fans can be as heartbroken as they like, and they will be, but £40m for a player that is surplus to requirements under a man that they were desperate to return is an incredibly good deal. Ideally you don't want to sell to a club that, despite an awful campaign thus far, will likely still challenge for honours in the coming years, but there is no side outside of England that will pay that sort of money right now. United are in somewhat of a desperate situation, and one that Chelsea are probably right to exploit. They need to rebuild and plan for the future in a time when key players may well see their own away from Old Trafford. Signing Juan Mata, if both Rooney and Van Persie stay beyond the summer, would certainly seem to make little tactical sense. Any formation involving all three would surely see a lack of wingers, while Moyes is known for favouring attacks down the flanks. Indeed, no side has focused fewer of their attacking touches down the central third of the pitch than United this season (24%). It's in this area where they've lacked creativity, however, with just 4 assists coming from wingers in the league thus far this season (Januzaj 2, Valencia 2). Meanwhile, Wayne Rooney, who has played in behind the striker more often than not, has 9 assists - three times the amount of any other teammate. Mata is a superb player, there's no doubting that much. Since he arrived in England only compatriot David Silva has picked up more assists and created more chances in the Premier League than Mata's figures of 27 and 227 respectively. He can unlock a defence like few others in and around the box, but United will need to have a change in style if he was to do so to the greatest possible effect at Old Trafford. The reigning champions would unquestionably be strengthening their squad by signing the 25-year old. They'll also be giving Chelsea a huge sum of money for a player on the fringes of the side, with which they can improve their team greatly where necessary. United fans will be delighted at the prospect of seeing Mata in red if the transfer is secured but Chelsea's faithful shouldn't be feeling too blue over a deal that is certainly right for them at this moment. 23. Well I guess your right about this one then.
