  1. The only good thing about that article was this: "though the manager will consider removing Ivanovic from the firing line. The Serbia defender had suffered a torrid afternoon against Swansea City’s Jefferson Montero on the opening day, and was just as error-prone at the Etihad Stadium." Hopefully this is true...
  2. RIDICULES!!! Really this is what happens for messing around this whole summer and doing much of nothing. Now we are like desperate dogs. I knew that last season was a one of thing, and won't be repeated again for a while. Back to our usual dumb ways of transfer business dealing.
  3. I am cocky because city have not changed much other than sterling who we don't know if he will fully integrated. They will fall down just like last year and we will bounce back. So yes they are not a real problem for me. With kdb it might be more even and a better challenge for us. Unlike some here I want competition and the harder my opponent the better and more excited I get.... Like Goku from dragon Ball z.
  4. The champions are reeling after a dismal start to the season but José Mourinho did not get where he is by crumpling at the first hint of trouble http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/aug/17/chelsea-losses-stack-up-jose-mourinho Pretty much what I believe. We are still good, will recover and win it. City don't scare me right now despite beating us. Getting KDB might level the playing field for them and give us a better challenge, but even then I still think we are good enough to win it again. So not really worried.
  5. Still don't scare me. Even though we lost to City I still think they will have a blip mid way, do crap in the CL and bow down to United. Not a real challenge. Maybe with KDB and Otamendi they can give us a better challenge towards the end of the season.
  6. And he speaks! Branislav Ivanovic has said Chelsea did not show enough fight as they slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday. http://www.espnfc.us/barclays-premier-league/story/2567669/chelsea-not-competitive-enough-at-man-city-ivanovic ........
  7. This is why Mourinho loves Oscar. Because he can provide a bit of creativity while also be a fighter with defense, pressing and all that good stuff.
  8. Well obviously if we can sell him now it would be good. But if not I think let's wait till the end of December to pass judgment on him.
  9. This is what I been thinking. He can still be good for us but in the CB position. We just need faster fullbacks ala ashley cole. And hopefully Baba with Azpi can provide that. I'm still pissed we let go of Luis because Mourinho could not drop Ivan from the RB position. Azpi and Luis would have been amazing in this second season.
  10. Still early people. Let's wait till December to fully asses the situation.
  11. Well just because you do good with small budget doesn't mean you will work well with big budget..... If we are going to spend money I rather keep Mourinho because he is already established in that with vast experience. hmmmm not all at once, but if we use one or two each season and see how it goes. Surely it would be enough to get top 4. Again like I said it depends what the club wants. And with giving Mourinho a 4 year contract it's clear what they want. So it's a bit puzzling about the spending as of lately. Because Mourinho ain't a manager for youth.
  12. Well if the club wants to go with youth and spend less money then the best candidate is Klopp. If they want to continue to challenge for trophy then the man is Mourinho. So to me it depends what the club wants. And if the club wanted something else then why give Mourinho a 4 year contract? Thus we will continue the same model and with that same model we must spend. Can't rely much on youth but spend money and Mourinho and the club has done little of this in this new season.
  13. Well if we are truly going to go spending less and want to rely more on youth then we got the wrong man for the job. Can't expect a manager who's good with money to change his philosophy all of a sudden. So again all this flows with what direction the club wants to go. Best thing is wait till the end of the season and see what's going on.
  14. Said from the beginning, if mourinho gambled on youth and we finished second or third I will not cared. Just as long as it's sustainable time. But if not I do expect us to challenge. So far it looks like it will be the latter. We start bad but can recover, and have full hope that this lot can do good. Sadly I would have liked a season to gamble on youth. Especially now since we just won the Damn tittle and he got a new contract.
  15. By the way what did I told you guys? He would say something stupid and forget to talk about real problems like Ivan. Sigh. This is truly getting boring by now.
  16. Wolfsburg braced for new Man City bid for Kevin De Bruyne http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11679/9953113/wolfsburg-braced-for-new-man-city-bid-for-kevin-de-bruyne Good we need the competition.
  17. Well this is what happen at Real Madrid. After the second season everything good, and he got a new contract (Similar to now). Then third season everything went to hell. I doubt it will happen the same here because the characteristic of our players, but still interesting stuff.
  18. Well that's true, that is one thing to consider and what I will put in my list of not wanting an emulation of Ferguson with him at our club. Let's face it Mourinho will never be a man for a decade or so at a club. He's way of handling things is not proper. It's good for short term and it's fine because in a 5 year deal you can get a lot done.
  19. People are calling for his head after two games? Wow you guys are truly amazing. Pellegrini did not win nothing last season, a season coming from winning the double just like us and hes still there. What's wrong if the same thing happens to us? Give the man a breathing room like Pelle and Wenger gets. Now I don't agree he should be here for a decade if he can't bring any youth after his third or 4th season. But surely he should not be sack so soon. It's dumb and won't bring anything good. I think 5 years is a sweet spot. Because in 5 years you can build a good project and assess everything. So the man should be here at least that amount. After that it should be about the goal the club wants. Do they want to build a team with more players from the youth set up? Or forget about that and continue with the same model?
  20. If this is true why give him a new contract? The reality might have been for Mourinho to use youth. You know the youth he said he wanted to use when he first got here? The rlc he was hyping up last season?
  21. Good timing since the thread was in meltdown after that game. ? I will be amazed if he is a starter any time soon. Needs to adjust to the pl and all that good stuff. I expect he will have more of a role by the end of the season or if not next.
  22. I wish I was a reporter to ask the good questions. About hazard, Fabregas, and especially Ivanovic. But no they will ask about penalty, of side goal and then mourinho says stupid stuff and people get all heated up. But neglect the important stuff. Ridiculous people. Getting tired of all the controversy and silly mind games.
  23. Oh well Mourinho will say something stupid and nobody will focus on Ivanovic.
  24. Well when most of you guys was debating the whole medical staff I was saying how woeful Ivanovic is and yet still keeps picking him. But don't worry Mourinho will say something stupid and most of you guys will focus on that and forget the important thing that is under the hood...
