I think the other buys came from tuchel. Which I often highlighted as a great manager but not good for building a team. Similar to Conte.

Yup I guess a whole sale is coming this summer. Now we see why they did not want to buy a defender. But the problem is that they sold this summer and the buys where not good. Well except for Pedro. But the rest, garnacho, hato, gittens have been an expensive waste.

This is why the only managers that make sense is the one that is at Strasbourg. Anyone who works there will come here and the board should just hire them. So they continue with their youth stuff as that is what they are doing in France.

Because we know no manager last long, despite the ridiculous long term contract this board gives....

Just keep getting the managers from our sister club. No point in getting top managers if all we want is kids. And since they are deplyoing the same model in France, might as well continue with them.

Was a major fault for yesterday. Maybe thats why Maresca did not give him much chances? He needs to get a loan ASAP.

This is what I wanted to see before but Maresca never gave any chance to build anything. Anyhow this is one of the benefits I thought from the French connection. Which is why i think if we keep up the player trading from between both club any new manager should come from there to continue with the chemistry of the players.

Joe shields and his lust for all ex city players. Really that guy is highly dissapointing me. It's like he become a rock star with Palmer and after that he just repeat the same play. Buy City players because I might get another Palmer....

Well that's something I have to acknowledge as of now we look more attacking playing more forward passes then with maresca sideways game. Granted this can be dangerous if you don't have good passers.

Maybe if Quenda becomes like Estevao then all is well and Gittens and Garnacho become subs.

That is true, hence why at times I hate the board and at times I have to give it to them. This is another they gave time to improve a bit. So it gives me thought if they are doing the same with the defense? Granted we know Badi and Disasi are crap but I mean the yonuger players like Anselmino....someone that was not looked at by Maresca.

Well I think the new manager bounce might be finishing.

As I said on the board my cool down analysis after the sacking of Maresca. That if we are to continue with this trading of players and managers between clubs then it makes sense we get a manager from their, like Liam. And then in the future if Gary does good in Strasbourg brinng him to keep the continuity. If they pull this good and without much fuss as in France they are hating this, they can build something really good.

I will say one thing that has been on my mind. If we are going to be bringing players back and forth from Strasbourg then it makes sense to get the manager from there come here as it will build continuity. For example with Liam the one who immediately gets to benefit is Santos. I'm still mad at the Maresca sacking, but if they keep this model of players coming and going from Stasbourg then it makes sence this appointment and any future appointment from Strausbourg.

I think he is the one that will benefit the most of Liam since he knows him well from his side in France. And this is what I wanted to see for a while, Caicedo and Santos in the mid.

New manager bounce. By March-April we shall see what is our true state.

Yup as I been saying. First the problem of sacking a manager and getting a new one. The new one will want to try out everyone thus wasting time. And second Joe Shields seems like a one trick pony. Can't see past only city players. Just because it worked with Palmer does not mean it will work all the time. I'm sure that's why we got gitten as well since he is ex city.....

Is it me or he does not look happy? There was talk about not liking Maresca. Now he's gone and he still don't look happy? I guess it's not the coach he is not happy with but the board?

I told you, every time you get a new manager we get this. This is why I dislike constantly changing new managers. We already know who is crap and who is not, but they don't as they need assess....
