https://newlinesmag.com/spotlight/what-venezuelans-are-thinking-amid-us-saber-rattling/#:~:text=The U.S. military escalation stirs, should intervene militarily inside Venezuela The U.S. military escalation stirs both hope and fear among Venezuelans. Debates about the use of foreign military force to topple Maduro divide Venezuelans at home and across the diaspora of nearly 8 million who have fled the country. Some Venezuelans, exhausted after years of failed attempts to remove Maduro through elections, protests and international sanctions, now see military action as the only option left. Others are more skeptical, fearing that those who remain inside the country will bear the cost of military attacks that unleash violence and chaos, without any guarantee that democracy will follow. Still, many Venezuelans now openly support a U.S. military invasion, even if they remain wary of U.S. involvement in the region. There’s widespread unease that military force is not the ideal path to a change of government, but it may be the only one left. An October poll by the DC Consultores polling firm surveyed 1,103 Venezuelans across Venezuela, of whom 86% supported Trump’s current actions in Venezuela, 49% thought Trump should capture key regime officials from Maduro’s government and 17% thought Trump should intervene militarily inside Venezuela.

Yet most Venezuelans despise Maduro and voted against him in last year's presidential election that was considered by many — including the U.S. government — to have been stolen by his regime. One Venezuelan analyst, who asked to remain anonymous for his safety, said that most Venezuelans would support U.S. military action to remove Maduro. https://www.npr.org/2025/11/27/nx-s1-5620605/trump-venezuela-maduro

I was thinking about this, if City wins it's not the end of the world for me, if Arenal wins the mentaility shift will be insane and more competition withim over the next couple of season. I prefer Arsenal blow it because mentally they will be so low ala Spurs. City has been the reference over the last decade and if they win it I think Pep will use it to hung up his boots. So if we can't win it, I don't mind City.

Yamal looked nothing amazing against us, but I will still spend plus 100 million if we could get him. One game does not define a player. That being said I would not mind if we get one of them, BUT not at the cost of blowing our budget on that and negate defense.

We don't do clause. He has a contract until: Contract expires: Jun 30, 2033

Yes that is true I don't argue with that. But like I said it's either continue with what you got or get a chance of USA doing what they did in Panama. Most Venezuela will take that.

Did not not got much chance here I wonder if maresca would want him? If so then good because we got a lot of work to do here. I will so mad if the board ignores this and continues to buy wingers and what not.
-
I'm not sold in him yet, I would like him to go on a loan. But for me sell gusto, Fofana, badi, Disasi and maybe chalobah. It's just amazing we have done this good with that defense that I want gone. As always said I'm fine with Sanchez as long as we get top cb. Sanchez would be the least of our problems if we get rid of those and get good cb.
-
Yes I'm in favor of selling gusto and getting some one new. After a couple of seasons after seeing him play I think we can do better then him.

Like I said if we are still within a reach and not disappoint against leeds or Bournemouth then we should go for a top defender in January. That would be make the difference. If not I guess we wait for the next season to take that final step up in quality all over the pitch. But just like the pundits are saying we are going in the right direction and we will improve next season even if we fall short this season.
-
I have not liked Fofana for a long while and I want him sold. I really don't like the guy. And not just because of this goal but in general.
-
I agree with that, the red card is why we are not titles contender yet. I remember Ramos who was king of red card took him a while to sort that out and went on to become very important for real Madrid. With this young players you just need patience.

That is not being said when we beat Barcelona. Typical knee jerk reaction.

Two different scenarios. Half the country had to flee because of the regime in Venezuela and not to mention the stealing of election. Trump only 4 year and then gone.

City were inconsistent like us. As I said we probably beat arsenal but then blow it at Bournemouth or something like that. But if they and us are still within reach in the January transfer window I'm sure someone will buy to help with that inconsistency. For city I think it's their middle and for us we already know.

Obviously it's all about the oil, have to be blind not to see that. Yet the Venezuela people in general would welcome this. Would want something similar to what USA did in Panama. Came in and left the country in good shape after the invasion.

These pundits are more speaking sense as I agree with them.

I'm starting to get worried about this whole business of the stadium.
-
We can easily win this and then screw it up with Bournemouth. We just don't have the consistency nor the defense to help us win 1 to 0 game consistently.
-
I still wouldn't start Estevao. Playing CL is different then PL at this time. And Arsenal are clearly one of the best team in europe. Barcelona before the game most of us metioned the high line to kill them. So Estevao was good for that, but Arsenal is a way harder game then this Barcelona.

Some people in the past said he was like Lampard. I don't think he will ever be that, Lampard was unique and don't think we have anyone that has fit that mole. If anything I think Enzo reminds me a lot of Ballack, which I was a big fan for many years when he was Germany and then came to our team. But the next Lampard? No one at this moment is close to that.
