Torres looked quick against Citeh. Good to see he still has good pace.

Hazard will learn when to dribble and when to just lay off the ball. Game by game you can see him improving. He'll be a very good player by the end of this seasons. A great one in 3 or so seasons.

The more you think about it, Citeh actually weren't even that great. We look as though we can get sharper and play better which is really encouraging. It seem we've almost entirely closed the Gap between us and those cunts. We might have a genuine chance to win the title here if everyone gels together. A few more signings to come as well.

Oscar probably won't play unfortunately. Also unfortunately, Robbie will stick with Lampard and Mikel as the double pivot.

I assume Oscar will be rested? I think it will be an identical lineup to the Community shield one (With another RB obviously). Perhaps Cahill instead of Luiz.

People may have gotten a reality check after this game. We need to lower our expectations a bit. We look pretty good and will get better with Oscar, Marin in the team and the inevitable signings still to come this window. Everything will take time to click. Torres looked really good in this game, fizzed out towards the end which was no fault of his own. Citeh looked stronger for sure. Not a gaping gap though. We've closed that gap. They are after all the finished article while we're in transition. Our double pivot is indeed a bit worrying. We can't play effective possession football right now and i'd say a pretty big part of that is due to our Double pivot. 4-3-3 would be better IMO. We really need to try that more often. We need to start going from strength to strength in the League now. Plenty to take out of that performance. Some good, some bad.

As Ryan said they have quite a few key players out. Silva/Nasri/Kompany the main ones who probably won't feature. Having said that, they will still put out a very strong side which speaks volumes about how strong their squad is. Feeling a bit more confident now though.
