Agreed with everyone. I was looking forward to seeing Sturridge get a chance and prove himself to RDM. It was an utter Fail from Sturridge. He trys to hard. Shoots when he needs to pass, passes when he needs to shoot, runs when he needs to hold up the ball, overdribbles, shoots from ridiculous distances and angles, when he elects to pass (once in a blue moon) it's a nothing, lazy pass....He is STILL overall a selifsh player. He belongs on the bench untill he can prove otherwise. After this performance I hope everyone sees that he should NOT Start against Barcelona.

Front three were Poor. Sturridge has a long way to go...slightly Dissapointing result, But a point is not bad, better than a loss, especially considering the matches we've had and the under strength lineup we fielded. I only watched the second half, but we defended pretty well in that 2nd half, they didn't really have any chances which is very encouraging signs for our defence ahead of the Farca game. The Cahill and Terry Partnership is becoming world class. I though maybe Robbie could have trhown on Lampard in the last 10 minutes or so. The experiment of Torres on the right didn't really work, and Sturridge was just poor as CF. He's not giving his hopes of playing centrally any boost. A bit of a boring game in the end. Just keep winning the rest of our games and go undefeated. Although 4th spot seems too far out of our grasps now. Well done to Bertand, great performance. Definitely ready for first team football. Also sorry Cap, but Kalou was so wasteful today.

Spot on. The early part of the game will go a long way in deciding the tie. If we can stop Barca from scoring for the first 20 mins, even the first half, we will be very close to beating Barca. They will get frustrated, lose confidence and start throwing everyone forward which is when we can counter attack and be deadly. We need to grab at least one goal here, so we can have a bit of comfort. Letting 2 goals in would still mean we go through so getting a goal is crucial. ...However, If Farca score early, say in the first 15 minutes, the shackles will come off and we will be murdered...

To be fair he did have to adjust the team and his tactics a bit in the Farca game. In the first half we were getting bombarded but Robbie straightened the team out, adjusted a few things and we looked much more solid in the 2nd half.
