Congratulations to Young Player of the Month - Nathaniel Chalobah http://t.co/dQzb8l3c8d Chalobah names Football League/Championship young player of the month

Review: Sam Hutchinson http://t.co/1683rcLjw9 I would use him to replace Ferriera, a role that won't aggravate his knees too much. He can also cover CB, 5th choice, if needs be.

Loanee Review: Josh McEachran http://bit.ly/19ZDMjR Not sure about Josh. One one hand I think he'll excel in a team ilke ours, with better players around him. On the other hand he needs to earn that chance..

He has had an average season. I hope people do not mistake what has been (and probably will be IMO) the best season of Torres' Chelsea career for a 'good' season compared to the other players, or other strikers. A strike rate of 1 in 3 does not define a good season for me. For me going half a season without scoring a PL goal also does not define a good season for me as well. He has just about been passable. What has been successful for Torres in comparison to his time at Chelsea shouldn't be held in the same light as a successful season for a striker. Out of 10 I'd give him 6 for this season. Then I'd sell him, and bring in Cavani/Falcao!

He has just come back from holiday, I wouldn't fret and he'll still probably come to Asia in the normal friendlies. Bamford and Billy Clifforf and Saville (the latter two have been on friendly squads before) have also all finished their seasons but aren't going.

I agree. Most top DMs these days, and indeed DMs coming through are more dynamic then they used to be, they are have a more all round game. Examples, Vidal, Khedira, M'vila(not really a top DM but was touted as such a couple of years ago), Bender, Matuidi, Song, Guarin, Capoue, Romulo, Casemiro.. No surprise it coincides with a rise in a 2 men midfield over a 3 man midfield these days. There is more responsibility on both midfielders to provide a certain incisiveness and still protect the back four. Anyway..I like Akรฉ. I think he has stamped his authority now as a midfielder. I think he could play emergency games at CB, and LB, but I have liked what I've seen from him as a DM. I would not mind him staying here next season as a squad player but only if the squad needed it, not for the sake of it only to see him go on and make 5 appearances all season.
-
This is what I thought. I was not a fan of him winning YPOTY. The guy was here for 6 months, while the rest played a full season, and he wasn't actually that good till the latter stages of the FAYC. Unlike Akรฉ he didn't actually play for the first team that season. Someone like Chalobah deserves it for me who captained the U18s from the start. I guess when you pay ยฃ10million for a young Brazilian attacker there will always be hype around them though.
-
Then on the other hand people will say how a player will look better playing with better players to suit their arguement, I think there's many variables that come with the different stature of teams they both play in, some that are positive and negative. Oscar under RDM had a free role in our fluid front three with Mata and Hazard don't forget, and KDB has more experience playing on the wing then Oscar as well. As I said above, he started his career at Genk as a winger. He also starts for Belgium as a winger. I don't think there's much between them for me, based on this season.
-
He performs well on the right for Belgium, and it is also where he began his career for Genk. He does seem best centrally but his crossing is great, he's two footed and is just a very good footballer..I think he'd be fine on the wing.
-
KDB and Oscar are at the same level for me. They both start for their international teams, at a similar age. Very good achievement considering their respective nationalities. KDB this season has 10 goals and 11 assists in 34 games Oscar has 12 goals and 12 assists in 63 games.

This is what I was thinking when Norwich played us in the FAYC Final. No bitterness..but even though Norwich won and played to their strengths, 5 years down the line I would get the Chelsea first XI will have more PL standard players than the Norwich one. Those two twins, that were the two wingers. Sure they looked good on the night, but beyond that, where will they actually get to? Just more run-of-the-money headless chicken type wingers England love churning out. Their striker is similar, think he was Murphy/Morris. He was a good foil for the two wingers at that level but he just looked like another block that lacks the movement or touch to get more than 10 goals a season. In Boga there is of course something above that for me. Very talented, I'm a big fan.

Loanee Review: Billy Clifford http://t.co/wZYOVEQOsp Billy has won me over in the past 18 months or so, he's actually a pretty good talent IMO. Loan to Championship next season would be good - maybe with Bamford. Not sure whether he'll make it at Chelsea but I think he'll have a successful career.
-
Surprised Christensen has made the squad TBH, he's been good this year but the likes of Boga, Baker and Feruz were more deserving of a call up to the first team squad based on all their campaigns IMO.

Chalobah and Cameron McGeehan joining the club as U9(McGeehan the guy we let go as an U16 who scored the penalty against us FAYC final). Terry comes out of nowhere and celebrates with them, typical

Assuming he'll continue to start for Nigeria he could be playing against the likes of Balotelli, Hernandez, Cavani, Suarez..and Torres(lol).. In the upcoming Confederations Cup.
