  1. #eng: Butland; Smith Caulker Dawson Rose; Lowe Chalobah Henderson; Ince, Zaha, Redmond. That is actually a good team

  3. Am I watching Belgium..or Chelsea (complete with Torres up front)?
  4. Decent save from Courtois just then too
  5. Apparently he had a Sky Sports special report interview last night at 9:30, did anyone see?
  6. Made an appearance tonight for the U21s, one to forget, never really got into the game, got into an extremely good position near the end to create a chance/score but totally messed it up. Having said that he's no impact sub. There's still no other player like him in the squad and there's definitely a role for him that he'll hopefully do well in as the tournament progresses
  7. Notice how you're quiet now. Chalobah was being rested with Zaha due to their play off fixture I'm guessing. He came on as a midfielder and made a positive impact. The position he played suited him, with Lowe playing the DM and Chalobah allowed a more attacking role. I agree with you on Josh though. Chalobah's first touch, he came on and drove the midfield forward before sliding Henderson through. McEachran's first touch in a similar position and he ran into an Italian. In his defence he is no impact sub and i do still like him. On England as a whole - they were poor tonight but as they get Chalobah, Ince, Zaha and Rose back they'll improve. Real problem area is CF - would contemplate starting Ince or Zaha as a CF. also because I wouldn't drop Redmond, he and Chalobah were the only two good performers that match.

  10. His tweets suggest that he will not be coming back to Watford, someone posted a trio of them above. Gilvorak I disagree. I have seen games this season where Chalobah has dominated the game at centre midfield, which at 17/18 is crazy, his passing range is impressive although he can definitely be over ambitious at times, he can dribble, and i really think on the ball in the final third he's someone who more often than not makes the right decision. I still don't believe that he's a DM though, certainly capable of playing there but as a midfielder I think he'd excel in a box to box role. Having said that we shouldn't forget the immense potential he has shown as a younger player at CB, he could still be a good player there. Issues though include how strong he is in the air there, and his strength as well. He played his first game for Watford there but for the rest of the season he's been used in midfield. And he has had a good season there.

  12. Cassetti really doesn't play like an experienced former international
  13. Nice reverse pass for Vydra there Watford's whole midfield have barely seen the ball. During the last 5 minutes where they have actually tried to use their midfield Chalobah was the one who instigates their first real attack and just did that pas I was talking about. As I'm typing he's just done another one. Before that Watford were trying to force the issue, were smashing it up the field, and Palace are also marking Chalobah well.
  14. It's not more than one from the same club if Watford are in the same league as us. Come on Chalobah
  15. I'm not really sure how it'll work next season. It will eventually end up with just a UEFA U19 CL or some sort of variate as they fine tune it but next season clubs can enter both NextGen and U19 as far as I know, not totally sure but I think with UEFA U19 you qualify if your senior team has qualified(which is already a flawed system), and with NextGen any European team can come in I think, by invitation but I suspect they invite a lot, not as if it's exclusive. Could well just end up being a bit of a mess.
  16. I agree with people saying he reminds them of Ballack but he also reminds me of our own Chalobah. Although it won't happen I'd love to see a midfield three of those two in the box to box positions and Aké/Romeu holding. I do think he's ready for first team football, I actually think he excel in the Football League already. But I also wouldn't be against him continuing with FAYC/NextGen and the odd appearance for our first team like Aké has done second half of this season.
  17. Torres better at scoring goals? Ba has 19 in 43 this season Torres has 23 in 64 Since Torres moved to Chelsea and Ba came to England, both at the same time, Ba has 42 goals in 92 appearances. Torres has 34 goals in 131 appearances. I won't even compare their league records.
  18. Mikel was our best player on Saturday..
  19. A late stoppage time strike from Chelsea's Lewis Baker earns a point for England U19s against Belgium and keeps their European qualification hopes alive http://the-fa.com/dBqCRZ
  20. Marin really isn't that talented. Benayoun had a better game than him yesterday.
