You make it sound like I had a sinister motive behind it. It was quite clearly tongue in cheek, and light hearted. 'Slagging them off', get over yourself.

I agree. I like his aggressiveness, something he has that our other midfielders don't have, but of course there's a thing as too much, very over eager in the tackle which was probably due to inexperience. 2-3 times he lost the ball due to a rubbish touch and then just fouled the player that took the ball. I'd have preferred him to just take a good touch and not lose the ball in the first place.
-
Not a good game from him. Too aggressive in the tackle, ball control not good enough which led to the aggressive tackles too.

Like father, like son!(this is supposedly Torres' son).

Mikel got a match high 97% of passes completed yesterday. Very impressive considering Everton's pressing at points. And before we hear the usual myth that he only 'passes forwards and backward'.. 39/44 forward, 20/20 square 7/7 backwards. He's a reliable, good player to have in the squad and showing it. Good match from him yesterday, made a few forays forward too.

Schurrle's looked average for me, pre-season and since the season started. Would prefer KDB down the right.
-
Courtois would have also wanted to win when we played Atletico in the Super Cup.
-
The Mirror reported he rejected Forest and Wigan as he wants Watford. In the process of negotiation but apparently Chelsea want Watford to pay a bigger proportion of his wages.
-
He is currently with Burkina Faso on international duty, so may have to wait a few days for news.

If it was Sturridge who had walked down the tunnel after being subbed against QPR, or made those comments after being left out the CL Final we'd never hear the end of it. Okay the CL Final comments are mentioned a lot actually..but Torres is certainly no model profressional. Capable of being very cynical and broodish when playing for us, then the next game he'll start trying again. I also compare Lukaku and Sturridge's attitudes. They are both ambitous and they know what is best for them. Hell, you can even see similarities in the way they have both stepped up to take the 5th penalty in important games, their reaction to it, and how Sturridge has learnt from it and Lukaku probably will learn. They can both be two of the best strikers in the PL. Sturridge's form in 2013 has been one of the best for forwards in the PL. Also the penalty thing, I'm talking about Sturridge's 5th for GB in the semi-final of the Olympics.

Had a tidy game for U21s I thought, I only watched second half but rarely lost possession, reliable presence in the middle of the park, and still made some runs and dribbles forward, still as comfortable there. Created two chances as well, wasn't just all spreading the play, some incisive as well. If he is just going to the Championship for 3 months it may as well be Watford over Wigan, he knows everyone there, the manger rates him, he'll pretty much go into the starting XI and get some extra experience. I like Wigan too but I've heard their football is getting more direct with Coyle and Grant Holt But they still have Europa League which would he interesting. Also Coyle is a bit overrated with his supposed handling of youngsters. Sturridge and Wilshere did well but TBH I think they would have done well at most clubs they went to. Kakuta and Weiss also went to Bolton under Coyle who maybe needed more attention but did not flourish. Not saying it was Coyle's fault, just that not every player sent to him comes back a star.

http://talksport.com/football/ake-made-conscious-choice-stay-chelsea-13090558768 When asked about going out on loan, he told Dutch newspaper AD: "It was discussed, but if I have a full year at Chelsea it will be my third season in London. "Then I will count officially as a player from the clubs youth academy. Every club in England must have a minimum number of self-developed players. It was a conscious choice".

Another goal for Bamford. 4 in 8, good start to the season for him.
-
I like MVG but he is a similar player to Chalobah IMO..
-
Also people saying we are 'alienating' him, I highly doubt we are sending him packing against his will. It is likely Lukaku is probably for this loan. He said he was open to another year at WBA more than once last season if I remember, and now has a 1st team spot ahead of a World Cup year with vicious competition.
-
I would prefer Lukaku on loan and Ba 3rd choice than Ba on loan and Lukaku 3rd choice. Same people moaning now would probably be the same people moaning that we have messed him around or that he was not ready if/when he was 3rd choice in our one man system and was restricted to few games.

Haha true. One thing that is confirmed is that Bannan has signed for Palace, so that can be ruled out.
-
Sky Sports News @SkySportsNews 2m Sky Sources: Everton interested in taking Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on loan. #SkyDeadlineDay This does fit in with rumours saying WBA are interested in Anichebe and that Long has left the ROI squad as he's having talks with Hull.
-
Don't even know what's happening TBH.. @FourFourTweet: Nathaniel Chalobah will join Crystal Palace on a season long loan from Chelsea. #CPFC #CFC (24minutes ago) @SamuelRhodes_: Chalobah to #QPR is a great signing (34minutes ago) And I've just read a tweet saying Palace are intereste in Briddcutt, defensive midfielder!
-
This also does make some sense, as well as the fact we can keep a very close eye on him due to our relationship with Vitesse as zolayes said he can also just replace Kalas as a right sides defender, unlike the overload of left sides attacking midfielders we seem to have loaned them that will no doubt end in one or two losers..
-
Chalobah did play one U21 match, the first one against Watford. He then suffered a minor injury playing for England U21s a few days later. Still hoping he goes to Fulham or Villa TBH ? However I think he could well end up just going back to Watford.
-
I think he's injured at the moment. Last season when he played he was a starter at LM.

Zulte have been drawn against Wigan in the Europa League group stage.

Valencia have been drawn against Swansea in the Europa League draw.
