1st Chelsea game at the bridge ! (a few questions)
DavBlue replied to captainjt26's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Yeah they are a bit pricey, I was last down for the QPR game and there were hordes of people trying to sell Champions League and FA Cup final t-shirts/scarfs/hats/caps etc you name it, you might spot something cheap you never know. And sleep? Don't be a muppet, get a crate in! -

Are you allowed to take a rucksack into the stadium I'm quite sure you can, but it will probably be searched on your way in. If you buy stuff from the megastore pre-match can you take that into the stadium Yes, I've seen people with them in before, but once again, they'll most likely search it on your way in. How much are scarves from the sellers outside the stadium (at rangers games they are a fiver) Usualy around £9-10 from the vendors on the Fulham Road. Might be cheaper as some will be flogging FA cup winners or CL final ones. I was thinking about trying to get a few players autographs but was wondering would it be worth the while i saw this video on youtube , is this the back of the matthew harding stand ? , do most players just walk in and avoid fans or do they stop nd sign autographs and take pics with the fans ? (are there certain players who sign/dont sign) Never tried to get autographs from the players/staff but my brother often tries to and he says it's not too difficult. They'll all turn up in the team coach a few hours before hand, and yeah that's the back of the MH stand. Hope that helps mate, enjoy your first visit to the Bridge! :blue scalf: -
Saurez should have been sent off for dragging Ivanovic down with his arm round his neck. Despite that it was an absolutely terrible performance, from the whole team. Turnbull was fucking awful, won't be bothered if he doesn't make an appearence next season, only he was to blame for their 4th. I have a feeling that the score line wouldn't be so embarrassing if Cech had started. Oh well, we won the one that mattered, and we've got bigger fish to fry than worry about beating those pathetic cunts.

So fucking happy right now! So proud of the team! Literally can't put it into words right now how I feel!! CAREFREE!!!!!

A point is good but I do feel let down, our front three were so frustrating at some points, we wasted so many good chances, great balls from the midfield weren't chased down and exploited. On the plus side our defence was great, Terry and Cahill were brilliant partnered in central defence, Bertrand let himself down with a few wayward passes but overall had a excellent game, I'm not even going to bother saying anything about Bosingwa. Overall considering the team we put out it wasn't a bad result, but we have so much work to do if we want to grab a good result on tuesday.

The quote about 9/11 is spot on, Whay can't they play exactly? Because they've said they won't, and the FA lack the balls to tell them they should do. It almost seems they're doing it these days to screw over other teams, Of course the FA would never do anything about it, it wouldn't be politically/emotionally incorrect to do so, that's the kind of world we live in I suppose. As for the fans who are sending Alan Davies death threats? Saying he's being insensitive but then sending him death threats? Scum the lot of them, plain and simple. I'm heading down to Wembley on sunday, I will respect the minutes silence but only for the dignity of those who died at Hillsborough and our own reputation. If we didn't respect it we would be villainised as insensitive thugs in the press on monday morning, and in this day and age one bad headline could turn the opinions of millions against us.

Wigan will be up in arms about Ivanovic's goal but we should have had a penalty for handball so they can be quiet. But what the hell is going on with the pitch?
-
Pitch been watered much?

GET UP DI SANTO YOU CHEATING FUCK!!

Can't believe it, We're getting dominated by Wigan...

Cech Ivanovic - Cahill - JT - Cole Ramires - Essien - Lampard Sturridge - Mata Torres I'd choose Torres over Drogba simply because he's been playing brilliantly lately, with a game like this he could shine, we need his speed and playmaking ability over Drogba's raw strength and power. The same goes for Mata, he simply must play, With his speed, creativity and vision it would be just insane to leave him out, I'd push Sturridge on to the right in the hope he plays a little less selfish and helps out Torres (like at Villa last week) . I'd pick Cahill over Luiz, purely because of Barcalona's attacking strength, even though he's an amazing defender most of the time we can't afford to have Luiz doing silly little runs or spending long periods out of position. The idea of playing Malouda just fills me with dread.

I always wear the same shirt going to games and when watching them on the TV, I never wear it any other time. I broke this rule for the Wigan game earlier this season when I wore an away shirt, and guess what happenned? When I'm going to the Bridge I always stop off in chicken cottage, not really a matchday superstition just really love the BBQ wings! When going on an away day I try to get really drunk, works alot of the time, and when it doesn't I'm in a state of mind that I don't care as much!
