  1. It really pisses me off that we battled so hard against Newcastle, Valencia and City and blew it with the lazy performance and garbage substitutions against Wigan.
  2. Uh, no? My point was that he's a decent passer but his real danger aside from goalscoring is beating his man and putting he ball into the box.
  3. His link up play is not horrible. Sure he can't make Xavi like passes, but he frequently beats his man and puts a decent ball into the box. With time he will become even better at it and will be unplayable.
  4. I would agree with you but then liabilities like: Bosingwa, Mikel, Luiz, Kalou, Malouda are also getting games.
  5. Why would we shift Sturridge to central striker when he getting a goal a game at rw. If it ain't broken don't fix it.
  6. Uh, how is he more of a disaster? He has the same goal to game ratio as Torres and cost 15m less. Both are shite mind. “He has been competing extremely well in training so, again, when you compete extremely well in training, like Frank [Lampard] has, you are nearer to selection rather than the opposite way round. Fernando has different things to offer than Didier and requires a different type of game.” AVB on Torres training just a few days ago. There is no Torres fan club you thick buffoon. Nobody has said he should start against City or Valencia. But some can see that he needs gametime for us to have hope of getting something out of our 50m investment back. Wigan was the perfect chance as 1) Drogba was tired due to age and the fact that he played 3 crucial games 2) We had a game against spurs coming up and 3) he cost 50 fckuking m and we need SOMETHING on that money returned and it ain't happening if he's on the bench
  7. Inb4 they buy him, he scores against us, we get him for 40m, he flops, and Malouda, Kalou and Mikel get more gametime than him
  8. I'm pretty confident that Romeu was an AVB buy. Not to be confused with Lukaku, who I believe was an Abramovic/Club/Ancelotti signing.
  9. Are you insecure about a penis? Anyways, baffling, really baffling that Torres is not getting any gametime. If I was Torres I would disregard anything AVB would say to me, which at the moment is a flat out lie. Why can't he start against Wigan when we have a match against spurs coming up? Does AVB not know that Didier is almost in his mid thirties? And to top it all off, he doesn't even get a substitute appearance, while Mikel, Malouda and Kalou do.
  10. If I could type a lengthy post without any swearing, threatening or with class this would be it. Very spot on IMO. From the first minute on it looked like none of the players cared, but in my opinion the first defining moment was when Kalou came on. No, it's not about Kalou being useless or that it was wrong to bring him on. It's about taking off Romeu, and while he is a defensive midfielder, offered far more than the below par Meireles and Lampard. The pair have contributed nothing throughout the 90 minutes along with Drogba and Mata. They just gave the ball away, with absolutely 0 penetration. The Malouda sub was by far the worst, very idiotic indeed. It's almost as if AVB was trying his hardest to lose the match.
  11. What is it they play? 3 at the back and 5 in midfield? Or is it 3 at the back with 2 wing backs? Is that not the formation in which we lost to Liverpool and put in the worst performance of the decade against Wigan
  12. It was better than watching expiriencd players make mistakes leading to goals in nearly EVERY single game we played. How has our conentration dropped so much that we are making schoolboy errors my local amateur team would only dream of. Another scenario: what if JT was injured and couldn't proceed? One look at the bench and I can't see a single centreback on there. What would we do, shift ferreira in there? Now unless Alex has killed his wife, why isn't he on the bench?! Why are we taking these risks. Why the baffling substitutions? Why did it take half a season to discover that we can't play a high line? Why is our 50m man not getting a minute of gametime against weak opposition even though Drogba is well in his thirties and is tired? I'm afraid AVB gets a 4/10 from me, all four points for the joy of Romeu, Mata and Sturridge.
  13. Yeah cos Drogba lit up the lights today I haven't seen him doing anything significant throughout the match. When he's motivated he is unplayable. When he's not, he's gone
  14. Never heard that excuse. If he's had a bad game then it's usually the "he doesn't get service" (according to the posters) Still a load better shout than malouda though
  15. What a bunch of lies. If Drogba isn't in the mood he is a liability and I can't believe you still haven't noticed. No, I'm not advocating that Torres should start
  16. I fully agree with the first part of your post and hugely disagree with the second. I don't understand the logic in sacking Carlo (a better manager), spending 13m to bring an inferior coach and give him time/money as opposed to Carlo. But what done is done, we can't afford to sack him and have no real need to do so unless the results really get abysmal and we end up in 8th spot come end of season.
  17. He's 50 times the winger/player that the current florent Malouda is.
  18. You mean like we did against Valencia and City? Ps, its what the manager and players are paid hundreds of thousands of pounds for. Maybe every smaller team should play 5-5-0 cos according to you it's tough to find a way through, and they would get a draw every time.
  19. Undeserved??? He made the three most retarded subs we could think of from our bench. It was just about the worst possible combination that the universe could come up with. Add to that he is indirectly responsible for our losses due to his naive high line. He has been a tactical numpty of the highest quality. Just how thick do you have to be to not get that Terry and Ivanovic + high line = failure. The only positives so far were his transfers, Romeu and Mata and the emergence of Sturridge in the first team. And benching lampard. I don't buy into that whole "youth revolution" cos there are two perfectly decent players in Josh and Bertrand who are getting 0 gametime even though Cole and Meireles desperately needed a rest. This was Wigan, just why do we keep these players if we cannot trust them to play against lower tier teams. I want him to succeed and I do believe in AVB but at the moment he's by far the worst manager in the top six bar Kenny, and has no right to "slap" anyone.
  20. Agreed. Just as long as Malouda recieves his deserved Ballon D'or
  21. Didn't Defoe have something like 4 league goals last season?
  22. What chances did we have :/ Because I can't recall a single one besides the Danny goal and Drogbas header. We were woeful. And I agree city should have had a pen, and probably win the game as we would be unlikely to comeback. But that has no significance and we won a hard earned match. Hard to say we earned anything against Wigan Abysmal performance would be an understatement
  23. Got it. But saying modric is spurs only threat is daft
  24. It's like I'm reading RAWK. That team is better than us atm, with a better manager, at home. We will have a hard time.
