To be honest LDN this isn't a backlash from one game. A lot of fans i sit in the stands with and travel with to games have been doubting the decision to keep RDM on this season from the very moment he penned the contract. I said from the start that we are forever indebted to Robbie for bringing us that holy grail but I don't think he is the man to bring us sexy, attacking football that can challange for the major trophies. I'm going to stick by my guns and pray to God that he proves me wrong because he is too fucking cool for school and i DO want him to succeed here!

RDM was never the man for this job. If he hadn't of won the CL then he would be looking through the local messenger for a new job. He's only here because Pep said no to Roman, as soon as Pep's ready he will be taking the most ruthless job in club football. Got to feel for Robbie because he is such a classy and nice guy but when it comes to managing against the big clubs he just doesn't know how to dominate them and before anyone says 'he achieved a CL and FA.Cup last season' let's not forget the incredibly large amount of luck we got on the way to winning those trophies and the style of football we played. Whatever happens Roman want's exciting, attacking football which is clearly what RDM is trying to achieve but can RDM achieve the balance!? I'm not convinced!

Spot on mate. To play Mata in the game vs A.Madrid was just lunacy, he is clearly exhausted and definitely didn't have the legs for it. I thought the whole point in buying all of these midfielders was to have squad depth enabling us to rotate for flurries of games. Moses and Oscar should have definitely started but as for Cesar I think it would have been unwise to play him in a game of this magnitude. Not because I don't think he is good enough but if he had played him and Falcao had ripped him apart like he did to Ivan, everybody would have been going crazy and questioning why RDM decided to start a new player in a game this big. Oh well.. Up the Blues.

I totally agree. The last thing I want to see is for Danny to be sold as I am a huge fan of his potential and I believe he could become a massive player for us. The point I was trying to get across was if he had played for the team a little more rather than trying to showcase his talent as an individual then maybe he would be a starter on the team sheet week in, week out, rather than being subject to a possible transfer move away from the Bridge.

I don't criticize a striker for choosing the wrong option now and then but Danny was starting to do it every time he had the option of passing it to the open man who was in a better position or try take a shot that wasn't on. The amount of times i found myself pulling my hair out, screaming at him for doing that was unbelievable. Then when he gets a chance this season against Reading coming on from the bench he had an easy pass into Mata (ithink it was Juan) who was in yards of space in the box which if he had done, we would have sealed the game but no not selfish Sturridge. Instead he shoots from a stupid angle, blazing it over the bar. This is why our manager doesn't want to start him as our main striker because it's all very good when these glory shots go in but when they don't and their is a pass for a man who is in a better position then that pass has got to be made. These things decide games.

I don't care what anyone says but if Danny had just passed more last season and clocked up some assists when instead he was shooting from impossible angles or 40 yards out....this situation would not be an issue now. Everyone knows he has the talent to become a world class player... If only he would stop acting like such a selfish fucker on the pitch and play for the team rather than himself. Why does everyone want to keep a player who only plays for himself?

Great addition to their squad. A large part of me is really disappointed we haven't gone in for him but there's no point in acting like a spoiled brat, especially after the fantastic summer we've had this year. A little part of me is hoping that our lack of presence in this transfer is because we are lurking around Witsel or M'vila.

Must admit I am surprised people are still banging on about his price tag. Why would it bother any fan or anyone else other than Roman himself. If Roman decides to throw 50 million in what may be deemed as a 'panic' buy then so what. Our emperor is clearly unfazed about splashing the cash on our imperious club, weather it be 50 million on Fernando or 30 million on Shevchenko. It should not be in anyway used to his detriment as there is no correlation to quality and the price tag attached to players in this current footballing climate.
