The appointment of Blanc doesn't sound as damning as the masses make out. I think the negitivity the possible appointment of Blanc is recieving is a knee-jerk reaction. The result of the dissapointment of not getting 'Sarri-Ball'. If Sarri could have replicated the football of Napoli here at The Bridge, we would have been in for a fantastic few years under his management.

He lost 32 from 150 games. 60% win rate with Bordeaux is a pretty impressive win rate. Topped the CL group stages in a group that consisted of Byern Munich and Juventus. They went onto the quater finals of the CL, losing to Lyon.

Lauren Blanc has only lost 51 games from 349 in his managerial career. That is pretty decent to be fair.

I am trying my upmost to ignore the rumour circus surrounding us at the moment but it really is becoming increasingly hard to ignore the 'Sarri is off' headlines. If true, what a shame. I personally feel he is the ideal man to replace Conte. If I am being honest, I know next to nothing about Blanc but the name alone doesn't fill me with excitement. Somebody did post on him, saying that he has been known to use the youth system and can build a balanced team in defense and attack. If that is true then maybe his appointment wouldn't be soo bad after all. My biggest concern is Hazard. You feel if Sarri was appointed, he would be odds on to stay considering his style of play. Can Blanc be enough to convince him? I am ruling ZZ completely out of the picture as I do not see him wanting to deal with what appears to be a hugely inept board under Marina.G. Whoever it is, wether it's Conte, Blanc or Sarri. I will support them and the clubs decision and hope it is done swiftly so we can concentrate on much needed transfers. Let's hope we sign some important players because we desperately need them.

I didn't say anything of the sort, about the stadium giving them special powers. What I was saying is that Spurs are moving into a brand new stadium that will mark the start of a new era for Spurs. That is the fact wether you like it or not and along with the squad they have (if they manage to keep hold of their big guns) then it is an exciting project for any manager. Especially for a manager who has been building the squad that will start playing there.

Oh definiteley agree with all the above but why now? He could stay at Spurs and see then into the new stadium and try win some silverware. Then go to Madrid at the next managerial turn around.

Dude, Poch isn't going to Madrid. Why would he leave what he has built when he has got them into the CL again and they are about to move into their new stadium which is pretty exciting as a manager. He can build a legacy there. At Madrid he will have a couple of seasons and he will get sacked. Sounds kind of familiar doesn't it.

Honestly, I do believe reading this thread can minipulate a negitive mind state towards the whole saga. Nobody really knows what the fuck is going on, it's all newspaper speculation and twitter bullshit. Having said that, if we end up with Blanc over Sarri, i will go fucking nuts.
