  1. An outrageous player! He deserves this F.A Cup.
  2. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Bakayoko winning fouls by tripping himself up. Brilliant ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  3. Regarding the predicition league, I am all for it. Sounds fun!! On another note, I am always linked to the forums as I have it in my history on my phone but earlier I went to www.talkchelsea.net homepage and could not find out how to access the forun for love nor money. Are the forums a main feature of this site or is it now mostly a website for news articles and foruns are a secondry feature? If not, then could you not make it more apparent that there is a great community here for discussion.. maybe more people would sign up if if it was more obvious.
  4. You just get the feeling that would be the case here. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
  5. Not so much us getting players bang in their prime but more us getting players who were hot on the market like Hazard, Cole, Robben ect.
  6. I don't think we need to spend big amounts of money on young, unproven talent at all. We have that, like you said. What we need are World Class, proven talents in certain areas.
  7. I couldn't agree more with what you have said. I really hope that what we agree on is correct. I just couldn't stomach City dominating Europe for a few years if any. A lot of fans say, 'i want City or Liverpool to win the CL because theu are an English team'. Myself, I never want an English team to win anything. Even then Charity Shield.
  8. We didn't get everyone we went for but it felt like we had alot more pulling power before now. The start of Romans Era, the revolution was an exciting prospect for any aspiring footballer. I'm sure players look at how we hire and fire thus resulting in instability in the dressing room, then look at what others are doing and would prefer their projects.
  9. He is City bound. Remember when players wanted to come here and getting them wasnt a problem at all.
  10. Any good manager can work the Prem out pretty quickly, just look at Conte winning in his first season. For somebody who knows the Prem inside out, Potchettino has made pretty big mistakes when it has mattered most. The game vs us when Leicester won the league was poor management in my opinion. Spurs went awol and completely bottled it. That should and would not happen under a top manager who knows how to motivate his team in the big occasions. In fact, I think motivating the team past the finish line seems to be where Potchettino fails and on more than one occasion. Having said that, he does have positive qualities in terms of building a squad with a mix of youth and established players. Kane has bailed him out in a shit-load of games too which covers up alot of cracks that Spurs can show often.
  11. Why do you think Pochettino is a better choice than Sarri? Have you seen how Napoli play? Beautiful football. Potchettino is good but Tottenham don't really play pretty football.
  12. Their direction was clear to see just by the calibre and style of players they were buying.
  13. Their owners have balls, very big balls. They want to be like Madrid, Barca and overtake United on the European stage. Looks like they will if they carry on like this.
  14. Lauren fucking Blanc. Lauren Fuuckiiing Blanc!!!!!!! ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿคง
  15. If we had done that then you could have bet your bottom dollar he would have become a World beater.
  16. Mate I do exactly the same thing every transfer window. Just don't get your hopes up too high. Thats all I am going to say.
  17. I think it is only fair to try and put yourself in Edens boots. He has the right to win the CL given the talent he was born with. There are very few better than him so why should he waste his one chance at winning the very best trophies football has to offer. It's not like he hasn't stuck around to see if we could develop into a European beast. It hasn't happend. He has shown loyalty in my opinion and yea he has flirted with the idea of leaving for Madrid but he hasn't done what 99% of the Worlds best players do and just left no matter who he pisses off. He has been pretty patient with us as a club. He has actually stuck with us throughout all the circus acts and merry go rounds of managers. It's only natural for him to finally be tempted to leave with no major progression on the horizon and he is at the peak of his career. I mean how would you feel if you saw the Drinkwaters and Zappacostas coming through the door when he could be playing alongside class acts at Madrid or Barca.!
  18. I think what Eden has come out and said is absolutely right. He deserves to play alongside better players. He is saying he loves the club ans his head and heart is here but he will wait to see what players are brought in the summer. He is coming to a crucial stage in his career. He isn't getting any younger and he does need to think about what he will achieve as an individual. It's actually really refreshing to see that he is giving the club that he loves a chance to match his ambition. Let's face it, he is the best player here at Chelsea and the fact that he plays alongside average Joes bar a select few is just not good enough.
  19. I'm afraid what you are saying here isn't true. Just because you had never heard of him before rumours to Chelsea arose, doesn't mean that 'nobody' had ever heard of him. That is a sweeping statement that I just cannot agree with. I had been watching Monaco progress through the CL the season before he came and he was being mentioned alot. Rumours of the elite clubs around Europe looking at him were in full force quite a while before he was specifically linked with us. Just saying.
  20. Bakayoko was known by many before he came here. He had a stand out season for Monaco along with others in that particular side, (Most notibaly in the CL). Yea Morata has flopped this side of Christmas but he did have a pretty decent start scoring goals and linking up well with Hazard and co. Bakayoko has arguably had one decent game for us in the whole season and that was vs Liverpool a few weeks back. The rest of the time he has been pathetic, so for me that has made him a bigger flop.
  21. For me, Bakayoko is the biggest flop of the century, starting with this season.
  22. Typical of our players. Down tools whenever they feel like. It's a fucking disgrace to the badge. Something needs to be done about this.
