Look on the bright side people. We're facing West Bromwich in our next league fixture, if you know what I mean. :eyebrows:

We don't know what the Abramovich and the board think of Torres, they may have lost faith just the same as us but what can they do in the middle of a season? Sacking a manager is a much simpler decision because he can be replaced at any time and the club don't have to worry about whether or not he can find another job after failing at Chelsea but getting rid of an expensive flop of a player is more difficult as he can only be sold during a transfer window and some other has to be interested in investing in the player. As much as me and a bunch of other guys said it in the summer that Torres is past it and going into the season with him as our main man was always going to end in tears, I still understand the club's decision because the money invested in him was so massive and if there was even a slightest of chance that Torres would 'be back to his best' with our new creative players behind him and him as the number one striker it was a risk they simply had to take. Now even they can't deny that Fernando is finished and no matter who we bring in to help him our other strikers Ba and Lukaku can still do the job better than him so paying this flop £175k a week isn't worth it. When even our fans boo him at our home games you know it has reached the point of no return. Anyway, back to Lukaku. I'm so glad he can't play against us this weekend, WBA will be without their most influential striker and I doubt they will recall Odemwingie for that game either. Not too worried about Shane Long playing as their lone striker.

Are you fucking kidding me, every fucking time a late winner when the current scoreline would benefit us.
-
I predict a late 2-3 winner for Spurs.
-
Jääskeläinen on fire for West Ham today, great to see good old Joe Cole scoring too!

I know most of you disagree with me, but I really don't give a fuck whether we win this one or not. I mean, we don't stand a chance at Old Trafford and pretty much the best we could realistically hope for is a replay and that'd mean at least two additional games to an already busy schedule with still no quarantees of success because City are also in it and today we saw the huge gap between us and them. Right now it's looking very likely that Benitez is going to take the battle for top4 right to the wire so it'd be nice if the team were as fresh as possible for every match. Never in a million years will I hope for a Chelsea loss, but I'm just saying that if we indeed do lose I'm not gonna be too bothered because at the moment beating both United and City in the cup is too much of a challenge anyway.

Again, we are talking about players with very different careers representing Chelsea. I find it disrespectful to call someone a cunt if he's a solid player who just every once in a while happens to be out of form. However, if someone is not temporarily out of form but instead outright shit since the day he arrived despite week-in week-out ripping the club off for outrageous wages and he still has the nerve to act disrespectful towards the club and the fans, I have no problem with people using abusive language towards said player and in fact consider it more than warranted. End of discussion, as far as I'm concerned.

5-0, De Guzman the cold-hearted cunt with another goal. That could have been us raping Bradford today.
-
There is fair criticism when it's due and then there is calling a player a cunt, they are two different things you know. Check my post in the Ramires thread if you're too thick to know the difference. And as for the Torres comparisons, your personality brings it out on us. I just can't take someone's unfair criticism seriously if all he ever does on this forum is make excuses for Torres and blame it on everyone else that his favorite player is shit.
-
Torres deserves all the stick he gets, he's been nothing but shit for over two years without even small glimpses of a brighter future. Most of the time he looks uninterested on the pitch and it's hard to sympathise with a player who won't give a fuck. There was a time when Torres could miss open goals from a few yards out without anyone calling him a cunt, in fact at some point people even started to blame club legends like Drogba or Lampard for his poor form, a fucking disgrace if you ask me. When it finally became clear to anyone he wasn't going to improve it was simply time to give up on him and nowadays he can be deservedly called a cunt for ripping the club off for £200k a week without him giving anything in return. And how can you say he's not responsible for our season going down the drain? He drove our other strikers away and the board were too afraid to buy anyone in the summer because it might hurt poor Torres. Him being responsible for the team not having a striker for 6 months was pretty fucking bad if you ask me and it cost the club a lot of points. But yeah that's enough about Torres, he didn't play today and can't be blamed for today's loss. By the way, what's with the moronic hashtags?
-
Show a little respect for, calling a player like Luiz who always gives 100% on the pitch a cunt is disgraceful. It's clear he really cares for the club and it's fans and also he's been one of our better defenders this season, the occasional fuck-ups don't make him a cunt or else we'd have nothing but cunts in the team. Ironic that you call Luiz and other Chelsea players cunts but then take offence when someone calls Torres a cunt / ladyboy / insert some other witty insult here. And mind you we are talking about players who have given 100 times the effort for the shirt than Torres has.

I like Ramires and he's one of my favorite players in the current squad but he had a shocker today and probably any manager who knew what they were doing would've taken him off at half time. His touches were horrible, he was always committing rash fouls and was lucky not to get sent off. I could go on and point out what went wrong with Ramires, but what's the point in that? Today simply wasn't his day but I'm not going to hold that against him, the manager should have seen he was having a hard time and done something about it. He's been poor in most games lately but it's not his fault our fraud of a manager insists on playing a formation he's not comfortable in. He's not a winger, nor is he a defensive midfielder. Last season he thrived in the heart of a three man midfield in the 4-3-3 formation but now he's just as clueless about his role than the manager is of the whole game called football. If the next manager keeps on using the 4-2-3-1 beyond this season, I really think we should consider cashing in on Ramires because as much as I like the guy he's just not suited to that formation and we should still be able to get a decent amount for him based on his heroics during the 2011/12 season.

Posted this in the other topic but maybe this would be better: Think long and hard Chelsea board, is Rafael fucking Benitez the man you want to trust in a tight battle for the Champions League spots. It's not too late to sack him and get someone with good man managing and motivating skills to get the best out of the squad for the rest of the season. Fuck, even Avram Grant sounds good right about now. I'm sure Abramovich with all his ties to the Russian FA could persuade them to loan us Fabio Capello for a few months.

Are we going to finish in the top 4? - Achieved!
Jype replied to Styles's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Spurs will probably climb ahead of us now with the game in hand and Arsenal are only two points behind. Can't see us finishing in the top four, at least under Benitez. -
Is he trying to wind us up on purpose? He got his tactics as well as the lineup wrong from the start and what in the name of fuck were those substitutions about? Ramires was having a shocker, perhaps the worst performance I've seen a Chelsea player come up with so far this season (with Torres in the team that's saying a lot) and anyone who was watching the game realized it about 20 minutes in, but our fraud of a manager still insisted on keeping him on the pitch for the whole 90 minutes and took off players who may not have had the best games off their careers either but at least they were not on the brink of being sent off and didn't fuck up all our attacks. Like seen on Thursday, Hazard is a player capable of scoring a screamer out of nowhere, can't see Ramires doing the same so why the fuck did he stay on the pitch, especially when we were trailing the game? Rafael Benitez, you are a cunt.

Why was that cunt Toure left so free without anyone closing him down? Poor tactics.
-
Only a matter of time before they score whereas we haven't looked like scoring at all. Moses on for Ramires at HT, the Brazilian will get himself sent off if Benitez doesn't take him off first.
-
Mikel plays because he is our most important midfielder.

This Khabom guy sure seems arrogant and a little cuntish. Mata as back-up for Silva, is he for real? Let's compare their seasons so far: Silva: 3 goals and 6 assists Mata: 17 goals and 22 assists. Silva of this season isn't fit to lace Mata's boots.

What a game yesterday, this man is a beast. Why should we buy Falcao or Cavani in the summer when we have this gem on our hands and also Demba Ba who has one of the best goalscoring records in the league for the past two years? With an improved midfield both Lukaku and Ba would be very much capable of scoring 15-25 league goals a season and that's more than enough to compete in the PL. Also, I would be much happier watching a true blue like Lukaku banging them in than buy a £50m striker who's considered to be one of the best in the world already. Regarding the discussion on whether the loan was a right move or not, just go watch this thread from July or August. Most of you were writing him off after the pre-season and now the board are cunts for loaning him out and letting him become the player he is now?

Perarl Jam is nice, don't really know much about the other bands there. Have a great time there! Rock in Rio this year would be epic, if only I had the money to go... Metallica, Iron Maiden, Bruce Springsteen, Avenged Sevenfold, Muse, Slayer, Alice in Chains etc. I think I just jizzed in my pants just thinking about the festival.

Happy birthday mate!

You do know that the final will be played in Amsterdam?

Happens for me too. Weird.
