  1. A must win game if there ever was one. Lose and we'll be fighting with Basel for the second place and will face much harder opponents in the first knockout round if we even get there but a win would be put us in a very good position to finish first. Anyone know if Schürrle will be available for this one?
  2. Once the bonus points are added my four midfielders will have scored me a total of 68 points. Not bad, eh?
  3. Bertrand has been solid, hope he gets more chances in the coming weeks.
  4. Okay, I'll take your word for it. And no, Mutu didn't pay anything or otherwise we wouldn't be in this situation now. I don't really understand why he wasn't held responsible for his actions and forced to pay everything he possibly could by selling his house etc. and the rest little by little from his wages. He'd have been properly fucked but no one forced him to do cocaine so hard to feel sorry for him.
  5. Another gamble today as I decided to give the armband to Hazard instead of Sturridge / Giroud / Lukaku like everyone else seems to be doing. Will either be genius or a huge failure, in a few hours we will see.
  6. What I meant was that if (when) Juventus and Livorno will keep appealing against this IMO unfair verdict then sooner or later they will get the case thrown or Chelsea give up on the matter, whichever comes first. Would be more than happy to be proven wrong and see the Italian clubs pay what they've been ordered to but I'm afraid this will drag on for at least another few years.
  7. My thoughts exactly. Won't matter much though, I feel the club will never see any of that money because Juventus and Livorno will appeal again and again as long as it takes and the case will go on and eventually be forgotten.
  8. Well, now I'm confused. My twitter app showed that only two hours ago the club's official website posted an article named "Schürrle: feeling stronger" in which Andre said he's looking forward to tomorrow's game against Cardiff and now he's supposedly out with an injury suffered during the international break? To make things even more suspicious the article was deleted right after Mourinho's press conference. Could it be that Jose is playing his mind games and tomorrow we see our perhaps most in-form player in the starting lineup after all? I hope so. EDIT: Now the article's back but edited. What the hell is going on?
  9. Torres Hazard - Oscar - Willian Ramires - Lampard Bertrand - Terry - Luiz - Ivanovic Cech Judging by the team news I feel it's going to be something like that tomorrow. Too bad about Schürrle though, hope he won't be sidelined for long.
  10. Heard they also focused on Norwich's penalty shout but completely ignored the fact we should have been awarded a penalty as well in the beginning of the match, right after Oscar's opening goal.
  11. Maybe so, but Hazard's been unlucky not to score some points in previous matches and despite the bad form and questionable fitness I've stuck with him when most people have substituted him for someone else so I don't really give a fuck if his goal was a lucky one today. He will come good, just wait a couple of months and he'll be back in everyone's teams.
  12. Two players with zero points but still a good round for me and I will end up with a score of 50 points once today's bonus points are added. My defenders were a joke this time with only one point total but in attack Sturridge, Lukaku, Oscar and Hazard saved my ass. It's getting lonely at the top.
  13. Better a fap fest here than people bashing the board in the Sturridge thread every time he scores.
  14. Yeah, making Lukaku my captain for the round was a gamble and tonight we'll see whether it pays off or not. I could have gone with Özil or Sturridge like so many others but what's the fun in that?
  15. But I've still got my captain Lukaku so Ben Arfa would have to score you at least 16 points more than Lukaku with double points.
  16. Looking decent, 49 points so far this gameweek and I've still got Coleman and my captain Lukaku left. Still top of the table and unless Ben Arfa scores like four goals tomorrow that be changing anytime soon because I'm 15 points ahead of the third placed @Barbara and the team in second place only has Coleman left so he's got nothing on me.
  17. Oh come on, you and I both know he didn't play like that at Chelsea. Maybe he really has matured and become more of a team player in less than a year but more likely it's because there isn't any competition for his place at Liverpool like there was at Chelsea. He can now play shit for one game and it won't hurt his chances of starting the next one but at Chelsea he might not have even made the bench if he didn't perform and because of that he probably felt he needed to produce something spectacular all the time and ended up being a selfish cunt, which ironically was the reason he got frozen out of the first team. Sure, the club could have given him a proper chance as the number one striker and even play him when he's shit but that's hardly what a club willing to challenge for multiple trophies should be willing to descend to and who's to say it would have worked out anyway? Maybe Danny would still have been utter shit and the club would have missed out on top4 and therefore Mourinho. I suppose you'd have been fine with that, as long as Daniel Sturridge was given his chance? Just fucking move on, people.
  18. Looks like Drogba has been named Galatasaray's player-manager until they appoint a new coach. Di Matteo is reportedly on their radar, would be nice to see Didier and Robbie re-united again.
  19. @Bclifford47: Arsenal again using this comp to see if there young players r good enough. Discreetly having a go at Chelsea for not playing him. Maybe he should fuck off to Arsenal then. In a way I understand him but he should know that the first team squad is big enough as it is and there are very good players who miss out way too often so cup games are good opportunities for them to stay match fit and maybe impress the manager. And even if there were a few youngsters involved, I seriously doubt Billy Clifford would be one of them because there are many youth players who have done much more than him to deserve their chance in the first team.
  20. Say hello to the new leader of the League.
  21. Yep, being that obsessed about something is seriously fucked up. For his own sake I hope he grows out of it when he's a bit older.
