I think its more of a loyalty thing. He keeps giving Torres a look in when we all know he probably doesnt deserve it based on club form.

He'd probably refuse but I would be disappointed if Zambia didnt even at least attempt to go after this kid. His dad was a part of the greatest Zambian team ever, and this current team has the fire power to easily make it to the world cup.

Sadly you are right. Our board simply doesnt work like that. I have no doubt at the start of next season not only will he be back(playing out of position), but also we'll have Mikel and Torres out there too. Probably will even send De Bruyne on another loan. Nothing will be changed, and we would be back at the status quo.

I feared this happening when he moved to Turkey. At what point do the opposing supporters beat the living hell out of these people who do this for making them look like idiots?

Perfect way to end his career here. He can go get his big paycheck in America/China now, and we can bring de bruyne back from his loan and get a true pivot player to make that role their own.
