He should have benched him last game. Why should, at this present point in time, Hazard have a starting Spot over Schurrle? The same player who has done all asked of him within the system?

He shouldnt have said anything about our style of play after the match because it was just ammunition to use against Mourinho. He's been in this country long enough to know how our press acts.

Thing is Hazard forced his hand on it. It could have easily stood behind closed doors if Hazard didnt make the statements. The press used Hazard's words to try to jump on Mourinho, so he had to put the truth out there.

The major thing is that personality-wise I dont see Cole in Hazard. It is definitely a test though.

Then what was Eden for speaking in the first place. We just got beat at home,knocked out of the champions league from a winning position, and he has to field questions from a player not tracking his man questioning him. He did what any of us would do, and set the record straight. If we are going to be really honest, then Hazard was only out there last night on name alone. I saw no reason, other than name, why he should have been out there starting over schürrle.

Mourinho meant exactly what he said, and he was right.

I actually felt gutted for him Wednesday. He had been good for us this cl campaign and it had to be terrible for him not to get the nod after putting in great performances against PSG and Madrid last week. Hopefully he gets the nod for the last two matches.

Salah, Willian, and Schurrle should be the attacking mids. Lampard and Matic behind them. Dont want to see Torres, Hazard, or Oscar really. Torres should be gone on his high note. Oscar isnt fit, and Hazard isnt either.

It DID look like he was staring at their section when he clapped, but I didnt want to interrupt the love fest in the match thread. If that was the case, and even not, I feel that should be the last time he plays for us this season(ever hopefully). End it on a high note for him.

Koke was the big star tonight IMO. He really showed class out there. No way he'd move now, but I wouldnt be upset to see him here.

Even better for us because we could use a pogba too

His set piece delivery has improved vastly this season. Will be good to see how he looks when he gets a proper preseason with the squad.

I posted this in the oscar thread because unlike schurrle, Oscar did not play the weekend, or even last week in Madrid. Sure he was beyond crap in that Sunderland match, but surely he gets some priority from his position in our squad early this season.

At what point is it better to play an unfit Hazard over him when hes been rested? He probably wouldnt have been good tonight, but surely he could have gave more than a man with 1 leg?

If he was not fit enough to track back then he shouldnt have played IMO. Defending isnt the best part of Hazard's game, but he has shown the ability to track back and put a shift in when fit. He should not have been rushed back today though. We should have more options than playing a hurt player in a game like this. Hell...what happened to Brazil's n10 we have rested on the bench for two weeks? Is he even still alive?

Hazard shouldnt have even played today. He wasnt fit. That has to be the only reason he would just let his man go like that...twice.
