He usually plays it safe with his passes though, so I think the mis-placed ones were out of the ordinary. You are right though he is no Mata.

This may sound like blasphemy on here, but I really think the gap between schürrle and hazard right now is pretty small. Both are inconsistent, yet effective young wingers with the ability to take over matches.
