Thought he was impressive in his last game. Offers far more than Alonso on the field in terms of link up, getting forward, and sure as hell doesn't get burned for pace consistently. But then again, Alonso can take the best free kick in the world, so have to keep him out there in case we get anything near goal, right?
-
Where is this fantasy to go to United coming from for all these players? They have a negative manager, play a negative brand of football and have won diddily squat recently. How is it that we can't attract any decent quality?
-
I've honestly been more impressed with Michy as of late than Morata. He needs to improve his finishing with the feet, and also his touch.
-
Am I the only one who thinks Malcom looks bang on average?
-
Great goal. Alonso might be the best free kick taker in the world, but I hope him scoring these goals doesn't mask the fact that his position is the one we need to fix the most and quickest.
-
Some of you are criticising Baka but he has been better than Cesc and Kante so far. He is far more limited and probably deserves to go off on that merit in a game like this, but he hasn't been bad at all given what he is as a player. And anyone that mentions Alonso being a better wingback than Moses needs their head checked. I actually can't stand watching Alonso waste every attack we have.
-
I've actually been extremely bored during our last two games. Never has that been the case. Even when we were dreadful a couple seasons back. Whatever that means...
-
We struggle to break down teams who sit back. Doesn't matter who we put on the field. Players just pass the ball around the box and no one shoots. All our goals are the same. Cesc with the lob ball over the top. No creativity.
-
Enough room for everyone.
-
Would love him on our team. Offer the boy triple what he is getting at the Spurs, and just get him over here.

The more I think about it, the more I like this move. People are constantly obsessed with world class at every position, but it really isn't a mandatory part if the player fits how he should. Dembele for Barca isn't some world beater. Sterling at City, Sane too, and even Salah at Liverpool aren't over the top great players, but they look spectacular allowed to play the right way. I really think Zaha will add some directness to our play, and possibly get the ball up quicker than what we do now. Not to mention, he is extremely strong for a winger which is always a plus. Finishing was always his biggest weakness, but seems to be putting it together a bit in that department too. Would not mind at all if we ended up getting this one done. I'm a bit tired of seeing Willian hold the ball up on the wings, and Pedro run around like a headless chicken at times.
-
Where would you play him? One thing I've disliked about our recent teams is our lack of physicality in the midfield. Even when Matic was here, he was strong, but we'd still get bullied by the likes of Tottenham and Man City. Verratti doesn't help that, but obviously a decent player. I just don't see him making a huge difference to our team.
-
Bring him to replace Cesc.
-
I think if he did come here, he'd be our best CB (bar Azpi, but he isn't exactly a natural CB). Saying that though, we are well organised at the back IMO, and really don't concede a whole lot, even given our deficiencies on the left side. We should rather spend some money upgrading Willian, Pedro and Fabregas.
-
Everton played like a bunch of pansies. No other words can describe that match. Sure, we could be better, but fark... they parked a massive bus and didn't even try to attack. Honestly one of the most boring matches I've ever watched.
-
Zouma isn't good enough. We have Christensen and Azpi as rocks back there. VVD and Varane would be great, then Azpi can go back to the right side.

I probably agree with this point of view. Intentions matter. But then again, nothing really offends me. I think society as a whole today always looks to divide from each other. People seem to complain a lot about "stealing of culture" these days, which I don't understand. Someone from a different ethnic group does something typical of another ethnic group, and instead of celebrating general human interest and coming together, people complain. I come from one of the most war torn countries in the history of earth, probably seeing its longest time of peace and prosperity if you could call it that. I still have idiots my age in their 20's when I meet them talking about Serbs this, Croat this, Bosnian this... I couldn't care less. Particularly because it didn't affect me, and I have to sit here and pretend to care that your ancestors hated their ancestors and you somehow hate them because of what? There was even outrage when Nick Cannon did whiteface. I'm honestly wondering who? Who out there cares for that one.
-
They have far more top shelf talent than we do on the attacking side. Aguero and KDB aside, young talent which will continue to develop such as Sane and Sterling, as well as David Silva. I feel as if we'd need 2 more top signings to be there in terms of talent if we get Lemar and Sandro.
-
Are these the same people that said Sane wasn't that good? Glad we didn't get him... I've actually seen a bit of Lemar, and every time I have, I walked away impressed. I guess people expect us to buy Dybala, Mbappe, Asensio types. Let me know how that goes.
-
If he leaves again, it was worth it. I thought he was fantastic as a whole on his return. He has achieved everything with out club now, and for me, will go down as one of my all time favourites. Way too criticised whenever he played, but that is the path it takes sometimes when you get a reputation early.
-
Outdated tactics? He is the best manager in the prem. He broke records and almost broke the record for most points in a season with the team we had last season... Is there anyone on here that can actually look at our team last season and think they are capable of that? He needs to be given the players he requires. The fact he made it work last season was amazing, and deserves far more credit than he gets. He actually had pundits talking about players like Alonso and Cahill being some of the best in their positions in the league... lol. I really don't see what the hold up is in getting the players we need. Invest in a solid left wingback (Sandro), and two wingers such as Lemar and Martins, and we've fixed a large majority of the issues we have. Throw in a decent ball playing mid, and it really starts to get easier. Splash out a little now, and save for the future. These are all young and bright talents who are already good enough to win now.

West Ham played so dirty. One of the most boring games of football I've ever watched. Hope they get relegated. Our fault though. Go down to a small side, and they sat back and played with 10 defenders. Don't think I've ever seen a striker man mark an opposition player. Today I did.
-
Why does everyone keep saying top 3 or 4 for us? We are clearly better than United. Maybe not in terms of personnel but we certainly play better than them. We will finish 2nd or 3rd. We have a better team than Liverpool but different styles make these games. If we are going to be fair Liverpool were outplaying City too before the red card. I thought we created far more real chances than they did. We clearly need some dynamic players in the squad though. Multi purpose players who can play several roles. At the very least some pacey players with decent strength. Like Sane on City. He isn't some great player but he is put in a position to succeed constantly. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Go for Martial. If they were willing to get Perisic and think about giving him up then surely the same for Willian might be considered. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I never rated him, and I still don't. Can anyone explain to me what it is about his game that people like? He just isn't dynamic enough to be a difference maker on the pitch. Much like Cesc now. Not strong enough, or quick enough, but extremely skilled.
