Already sured up their defence with Laporte, so may as well buy a luxury. We won't be competing the next 4 or 5 years. Best to try and make top 4 every year and hope to scrape a champions league run for the ages together.

Guess we should just get Salah back. Clearly because he scores goals, he is far better.

Finally. Making the right moves to become a powerhouse in Europe again. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

He was amazing against us and he has been very good this season. Would love him here. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Matic was the best at his position in the league when he switched here too.
-
Hoping he picks it up. He is talented. Just struggling majorly. He'd be 10 times better if he could just play a simple pass. He can clearly drive the ball forward, but he seems to be doing less of it than when he got here. I remember the game against Tottenham (his first), that was the one thing that really impressed me. His physicality and ability to drive forward with the ball.

He has 10 in 18 games for us. You can use those stats if you like, but for the first time he is a full fledged starter. Not to mention, he just turned 25, so he has gotten better. You can say, apart from the Stoke game, he is at a similar scoring rate to what he was, but I can counter and say, if he hadn't of missed about 6 or 7 sitters (maybe more), he'd be at nearly a goal a game for us. You aren't a professional footballer if you are who you are by missing a one on one with the keeper by three feet (regularly, especially at the striker position). That just isn't true. You don't have to be a killer in front of goal to nail at least two of the chances he had today. It is confidence. Point blank.
-
That is just not true. Costa is absolutely a top striker. Two 20 goal seasons with us, and would have had another if not for the business with Jose and his injury. Frustrating watching Morata at the moment. I said Michy has been the more impressive of the two lately, and I honestly would have started him. I don't think Morata is bad, and in all honesty, it is probably a good thing he is starting considering we don't really give people a fair shake if they start underperforming, and we want him to stay. You don't miss shots like that if you're bad. You miss them because you have no confidence. He thinks too much out there. I don't think it is a Torres situation, because he was done by the time he came here.

Moses deserves far more credit than he gets. He is a hell of an athlete. As is Zappa. Both do a great job of getting up and down the pitch. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

How frustrating is it, right? I fucking hate it too, but I can't support any other club. We're both stuck for life. Just get Sandro or Telles done and I'm happy. I'm sick of watching the free kick specialist get done for pace against any decent winger.

Courtois is terrible. Or so I'm told on here. Despite being apparently terrible, he has the second highest save percentage after DDG. He is so far ahead of Cech and Lloris that it isn't worth mentioning. He is comfortably ahead of Ederson too. The most clean sheats along with DDG, while conceding two less goals. Terrible keeper though. Can't save a penalty ever, so that makes him garbage too.
-
Zaha has been extremely impressive against City. The more I see of him, the more I like. Wouldn't mind him here in January.

Did you just say Pogba and Mbappe are slightly above average? Mbappe is top 10 in the world and 19 years old. Lol Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

It baffles me how some people cannot see the work this guy does to make this, and any other club he has worked with successful. The man is a winner, plain and simple. Like someone said, he is pragmatic, not defensive in his approach to games. Has he made mistakes this season? Sure, every manager has. We have so many flaws and deficiencies on this team and we are in second spot. Even when we were in third it was impressive. In my opinion, we're far and away from having the best team in the league, and out of the top 6, I feel we have the most holes in our team.
-
With Lingard and Rashford being ahead of Martial in the pecking order, we should push hard for Martial. So much more talented than both Rashford and Lingard, but stuck on the bench. Ah, it would be the dream scenario.
-
I'm sorry, but that is just ridiculous. Everyone can have an opinion, but that is just clearly wrong. There is a reason he has won player of the year awards at his clubs and the leagues he has played in. There is a reason he is the one talked about as the stand out player in the league on the most consistent basis by former players. There is a reason, as stupid as it is, that he is the highest rated FIFA player in the EPL. Everyone, from former players, the media, award voters, pundits, and even computer game developers consider him the best in the premier league. That doesn't collectively happen by mistake.
-
Alonso shouldn't play. He cannot get a cross in to save his life. How is it that Moses gets further forward, while being able to defend better as well? Start Zappa on the left and Moses on the right. Drinkwater should play again. Cesc was not missed at all last game. Danny was pinging passes around while also contributing defensively.
-
Courtois terrible again. Just saving a certain 1 on 1. How bad is he guys?
-
Willian looks a lot better bringing the ball up through the middle than on the wings. Should play more centrally every game.
-
Perfect start to building an offensive minded team in my opinion. Him and Christensen back there. Dave can whip in a cross or play any of the wing back positions. It would honestly set up our defence for the next 5 to 10 years. Bonucci could be a good stop gap until the next decent prospect comes along. Seems we are linked there as well. We need a beast in the back. Terry used to be it and then Luiz but we are lacking the physicality back there now. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Would anyone be against going after Mkhi if United want to get rid of him? Quick on the ball, doesn't mind having a crack, is a great passer of the ball and is far more dynamic than Cesc. Feel he would lift the tempo slightly of the side, which is what we need. Try and get Martial off them as well, and send them Willian who Jose desperately wants.
-
Perfect player to have come off the bench and tear the defence apart after 75 minutes. Has pace and is far more direct than Willian. Need to get rid of some of these players who are responsible for this lackluster, slow type of play. Willian being a main culprit with his excessive stationary stepovers and holding onto the ball.
-
Exactly the type of player we need. Someone who actually runs at defences and forces them to react. Our team currently is content with passing the ball around the outside and waiting. Moses is the only one who actually tries to run at defences but he really isn't cut out for it unless the gaps are there. I was told how average Sane was before he went to City, and how we wouldn't need him, and you look at him on that City team and what a game changer he is... Don't want to let another opportunity slip.

One of the best CB's in the PL. People acting as if he is just above average simply because he went to a rival. He is a walk in for any team in the league.
