Yeah I remember we were all high on him and he was great overlapping and not playing this inverted BS. Gusto can be impactful, but he clearly is a very limited player who needs to stick to what he can do. Maresca is trying to make him something he is not. Such a silky finish. ST I was never too worried about when Delap came in. I think he continues to kick on. Get another ST to push him along and compete, and get rid of Jackson. I thought he was a far better pick than any ST on the market given his price and quality. Gyokeres, Sesko and others were a risk at their price - and I don't think there is much of a gap in quality if it all.

Delap is quality. Even with this lacklustre quality of ball to him and absolutly stagnant offence at times, he looks really good and constantly troubling defenders.

All the players Maresca hasn't had time to work with are the most dangerous for us. The rest are automated side pass bots happy to sit on top of the ball.
