Hope Lampard comes on and scores an own goal in the 86th minute.

You tried your best McNair, but a faux hawk always beats a mop top.
-
Lets hope this McNair kid turns into a weapon on the field. Going by his haircut, I have my doubts.

Aguero's wasn't a penalty, but the Yaya one is questionable. Don't think its 100% like some of you on here. Rojo had position and then Toure stepped in front of him. Not easy to get a penalty like that in my opinion.

If he wants to come here, let him come. I'd be happy to have him. Costa hasn't been the healthiest as of late, Remy is injured, and Drogba at this point always has a nagging injury, and we can't have him at his age playing that many minutes every game if both of the other two are down. People act like having a wealth of options isn't needed. Sure, maybe not, but it is nice, and it will only help us if anything. I mean City at one point had Aguero, Dzeko, Negredo and Jovetic who could all start up front if needed. Same with United right now. RVP, Rooney and Falcao all could take that striker position on a given day. I wouldn't mind Destro here. Remy can always play on the wing as well, so it isn't like one of them will never get a game.

Take a proper corner at the end. This is QPR, not Real Madrid we're playing out there. I want to score as many as possible on these muppets. Apart from that, decent game, but the keeper just had a blinder, and we missed some easy ones. Don't try and over analyze it people. We played fine.

Eh, he is good where he is. He fits his current team perfectly. He is a player that needs to be protected due to his glaring weaknesses in his game, and the Barca team has been doing that quite well his whole time there.

Just re watched the first half in particular... Who are these "experts" saying that United were better in the first half? I just watched the damn thing and they had nothing going in the first 20 minutes, at all. All these "shots" they had were about 10 yards wide or high each time. They had the Van Persie opportunity moments later, but meh. We were constantly around their goal in the first 25 minutes and if we ever figured out one of the 4 or 5 corners we had in that time, things could have been different again. We should be fairly happy with our game considering the amount of movement Remy and Costa offer which contribute in a large way to our game. Drogba was mainly a passenger outside a select few plays. Also just watching on a 2nd viewing, you get to notice and appreciate the little things Luis does. Great at getting forward and adding more potency to our attack. He was fantastic at times getting down the wing.

I'm more worried about this surgery talk for the simple reason that Remy is also injured. And Drogba to an extent. We aren't going to do that well with Drogba up front. Do we buy a cheap option with a bit of pace for up front just in case? Or do we give Schurlle his dream of playing up front and being able to blast shots at the goal without looking as much of a ball hog due to his position now?

Some people need to stop being so critical and analyzing everything in the game, down to individual blades of grass and how they impacted the outcome. Also understand that causation and correlation are not the same thing... We played fine, and well enough for a win. Anyone blaming Ivanovic is clearly on something unhealthy... Same goes for the blaming anyone else. We drew, it happens. They created nothing apart from that last chance in the second half, and it went in. Big whoop for them... They are shite and only drew due to poor refereeing. Which is almost always the case when we play them. I can't remember the last time they got a fair result against us. EDIT: And the Hazard miss? Come on, get off his case. The keeper guessed and got lucky. Shit happens. Keeper hedged one way and committed already, lucky for him Hazard already had intentions of going that way.

I'm not sure if people are just picking the goal scorer's for the sake of it, but Matic was by far the best player on the pitch, and I don't think it was particularly close either. That was one of the best games at his position that you can have. He was everywhere, and dominated the flow of the game. What an absolute beast. His best game for us, one of the best I've seen individually from a player, and a statement to just how good he is. EDIT: Another thing, Remy was fantastic. Came on and played a great game. Did a great job at holding the ball up and even setting up a few great chances.
-
This ref is terrible. He thinks he is the game. Seriously. He's the one that's ruined the game.
-
Matic and Remy are freaking brilliant out there.
-
I was never a fan of him, and still aren't, but jeez... Some people acting as if his hopes of being a class player are dashed at 21? Furthermore acting as if it serves him right or whatever. We have no idea what went on. It's whatever though... lol. He has flaws, and if he works hard, he can iron them out. Like any player. Anyone acting as if they can predict the future on this kid. Sure... keep thinking it. No one knows how anyone will pan out. No one expected Bale to be this good today. No one expected Messi to pan out the way he did. No one expected Matic to make the progress he did at his age. Yes, it was a great piece of business by us. but the guy is young... Maybe he is stupid, ignorant and far too arrogant at his age, but then again, I'm sure a lot of us were, and we weren't anywhere near the position he is in currently. Hope he figures it out, despite not being a fan. He is fun to watch when he is on.

Turkish Airlines rumoured to replace Samsung

No. Let us all live in our loop of brilliant, unreasonable, hate. It is so beautiful here. -
I love watching this guys celebrations as much as his goals. Gets me amped. Should bring a montage of just him celebrating his goals to the gym, and it would be enough to get you fired up. I know for a few of us Aussies on here watching at midnight or even later, it is hard watching that late and trying to stay quiet in a house of sleeping people when you have Costa celebrating like crazy.

Average was the word I was looking for. Overhyped is just another of the ones you can throw in. He is a fast winger with some trickery about him. Where have we seen this before on the English scene? All too familiar, and to carry on that trend, he tries to do too much at times and results in the same type of play many other wingers in the same mold before him, suffered from. I get it, I really do. I understand why he is so lauded and sought after, but myself, I've seen it before. 48 mil for him alone is cringe worthy... Hazard was three times the player at a similar age, and yet we got him for 32 mil at an even more advanced level and age... Overhyped, and overrated.
-
He is so average... I don't get all the hype. Let someone else buy him and suffer with his mediocre play. We're linked with every player though, especially if its a big fee. I doubt it is true though. Why get him when we had Sturridge who was better at just about every aspect prior to him? We had him and we were keen to get rid of him in a hurry.
-
I'm going to stop coming into the Hazard thread. I genuinely look forward to some decent conversation, and leave angry and with a headache due to not being able to discuss anything properly.
-
Need to be careful. They are a decent side, and having players out that have played mediocre for them so far this season gives others who have been sitting on the bench an opportunity to prove themselves. A lot of these guys get hyped and come out to play. Any team can beat any team on any day, and you always have to be wary of the wounded ones.
-
Absolutely horrendous today with his decision making and selfishness. Incredibly greedy and visibly aggravated a number of our players on the pitch. I knew it was going to come, and you could see several times players throwing their hands up, and Costa even going mental jumping up and down on the spot. He needs to fit in with the rest of the team and adapt to the beautiful and unselfish style of play which is working wonderfully among the other players.
-
So glad to see Oscar playing well again. He has been superb, and he has been rather brilliant at maintaining possession even when pressured, which was a weak point of his. It always puts a smile on my face when he plays a good game. We had so many chances one on one with the keeper and missed them all. Credit to him, he was fantastic in goal today. Hell, he even stopped a Costa one on one. Not many keepers are going to be able to say that this season with his touch around goal. Costa and Matic were superb as well. Costa was unlucky not to score, and in my opinion he probably had one of his best games to date with us despite not scoring. Matic was brilliant defensively and offensively. Damn, some of those passes today... Thought we had two Cesc's out there. Another note, that I noticed as early as the second game of the season, and it keeps happening. Schurlle... PASS THE DAMN BALL! Absolutely disgusting performance by him today. Agitated me watching him. For all the good he does, he ruins it all with his selfishness. Every single player on the field was visibly frustrated with his play and selfishness. Someone needs to step up and tell him, because I know even Mourinho was upset by it, hence the early substitution. He can't get anything but shoot in his mind. Seriously... Playing on a team this unselfish, and one that is constantly looking to always find the best shot, and he is the only one not fitting in. He worked so hard today, yet he does shit like that... Costa on the other hand is bagging goals every game, and yet, I would say he has been rather unselfish, and could shoot more in fact. Schurlle isn't some sub that barely ever plays that needs to prove himself with goals constantly like a Salah. Dude needs to relax and find the best man in shooting range. He can't seem to figure out its not him all the time. Anyway, great game. Very exciting and enjoyable. It was actually incredibly entertaining watching their keeper as well. Fabulous player.

I didn't mean laziness as in not a hard worker or anything like that. Simply the type, being human nature, where a person gets comfortable, relaxes and eases their foot off the gas because we are winning comfortably. But then again, he might be tight and injured. Like I said, I don't know, but his running around the pitch seemed to be down a little. He is still bagging goals, so that is good. Just hoping he is healthy.
-
I know as long as he keeps scoring we are happy, but he does seem to be carrying a knock. At least from what I noticed watching the game. He seemed to still make his cuts and nice movement when the opportunity was there, but his work rate and tracking of the ball was a bit down. I guess at the same time that could be due to laziness and just natural human nature of relaxing at times in some games. I guess you can't expect full intensity in every game, particularly one where you are dominating the whole game and there is no threat. But at the same time, it could be due to a slight injury or tightness. Whatever it is, he is still good enough to knock in goals and get us these wins that we couldn't get last season. He is an absolute game changer.

Crazy to think this guy could have been a Manchester player... That Champions League win over Bayern meant a lot more than just glory for that one moment. It's part of our history, but it also allowed us to be in a position now to continue to make history with players like Hazard. He wouldn't be here without a whole lot of luck and some brilliant goals from Drogba, and not to mention a whole bunch of crazy penalty saves from Cech. It's great when things work out... haha.
