  1. He is the biggest phony of a striker i have ever seen. He's just above average
  2. He played 100 minutes of football carrying an injury http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-defender-david-luiz-almost-had-to-come-842248#.T7llVRDjw9o.twitter
  3. Are you kidding me? Whats wrong with what he said? It has been disappointing season for him and now he's happy with the trophies that we've won. He's even said he's looking forward to the super cup. He was never going to come out and say he's enjoyed the season and its been great because he hasn't....simple. Why the overreaction
  4. Take a look at what Luiz has said “I was nervous about my leg. I’ve played injured. I was out for 35 days and came back to training. “But two days ago I had a bad pain again in my hamstring and it meant that maybe I wasn’t going to be fit to play in the game. “On Friday I had to have a fitness test to see if I could play but even in the game, after 20 minutes I could feel it again, feel it bad. “But I told myself I was not going to let it make me come off. I said, ‘I have worked all my life for this, this was the dream I had as a kid, to play in this game’. “So I told myself I would play with my heart. I did not need to play with my body when my heart was strong. “And now I have the reward. We won the Champions League.” Luiz added that he viewed his penalty as the chance for personal redemption. “I remember I missed a penalty in Genk at the group stage,” he said. “Missing it and thinking about it was something that kept me awake for a few days. It was not nice. “I knew in the shoot-out I had an opportunity to put everything right, to score one that people, all the fans, would remember. “I am glad I did what I intended to do and scored. “So I just did what I always do in training, had faith in myself and what I was going to do. I’ve always taken them that way.” This is the makings of a true chelsea legend, and just shows our never say die attitude. Never been so proud of supporting this football club, 4 suspensions, injuries on the pitch and we still proved everyone wrong
  5. So the player tweeted this earlier @mulumbuofficial Chelsea, Liverpool or Newcastle next season... All i know is that he's said that RDM played a big role in his development as a player, so might be a hint that Robbie will get the job. Might be an Essien replacement after Mikel and Romeu. Will be interesting to see how this develops
  6. When he was appointed im sure he was told, 'Get us in the champions league next season' He's just gone and got us two bloody trophies and CL football
  7. Should the Bertrand rumours be true, I think we'll line up in a 4411 like Dortmund did against them. Bertrand left mid, kalou right mid and mata behind drogs
  8. People are saying Ramires can't play in the double pivot just because of that one game at Napoli and to say he can't play there is silly. Playing in the double pivot would still allow him to make those runs forward just look at Yaya toure at City who plays in the double pivot for them and look a runs he makes at times. As long as one player is left to hold and having Ramires will probably help us a lot as he will constantly run around, just needs to improve his passing. This is about Hulk anyway and what i will say is, i REALLY hope he comes. Such a good player and on his day he's unplayable
  9. I think its very easy just to say Bayern lacked the will or weren't fully focused yesterday, but in all honesty i'm sure they were. The one thing all players want is trophies and when you get a chance to go on and win one, you will always put in full focus especially when its against one of your rivals. The fact is yesterday Bayern were simply outclassed which had nothing to do with them. Klopp got his tactics spot on and that early goal really helped to rattle them (even though they equalised) and so those saying 'don't read too much into this game' i think are just doing so to not appear to over confident or get their hopes up. I'm not getting confident either, but we can draw a lot from this game. We've seen how to attack Bayern effectively, how to defend against them and how we should put pressure on them. The effect of this loss will also no doubt effect their players and their spirit, they've just been thumped in a bloody cup final ffs! The thought of how they conceded so early will carry on to the next final and they'll be tentative and so hopefully we can pounce then. The slim hopes we had have definitely increased, not by a lot, but enough to give us hope
  10. The west Brom fans were unhappy to see him go though and the main reason why he got sacked was because he wasn't backed by his board. He wanted a striker and defender in January but they didn't get him them. At the start of the season they were getting results while playing attractive football and i remember them beating Arsenal or United. He's young and still learning and the early evidence suggests that he'll be a great manager. Also you say almost doing nothing, so was it the players that organised the tactics for our games against Napoli, Benfica, Barcelona, Tottenham etc? Kalou
  11. No i see where your coming from, its just that i hate it when people suggest that RDM is only a good man manager, when in fact players have said he's good tactically and that we even have some evidence to prove that he knows what he's doing with tactics such as the switch to 4231, playing Ramires on the wide left position at times etc. A 1 year contract will probably be best for all parties
  12. Have to say i don't agree with that, the players that RDM have been using in the premiership are mostly the 2nd team players and its not been a fact of them not being motivated, there just not good enough. In the league we've been playing a front line of Ramires Malouda Sturridge and Torres in front and lets be honest there isn't an ounce of creativity in that. The poor PL record has been as a results of tough fixtures where we haven't got to play our strongest teams. If we had been able to play: Cech Ivanovic Cahill/Luiz Terry Cole Lampard Mikel Ramires Mata Kalou Drogba/Torres Week in week out, i can assure you we would have finished in the top 4. To say the results have very little to do with him is harsh
  13. RDM pl record is worse because we've had to play Arsenal, City, Tottenham, Newcastle, Liverpool and we haven't fielded a full strength team in the majority of them. I guarentee with a full strength team we'd have beaten Spurs, Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool
  14. Link for Schweinsteiger http://sports.yahoo.com/news/schweinsteiger-admits-carrying-ankle-injury-181114531--sow.html Bosingwa-Cahill-Luiz-Cole played together in the 2-1 loss against City for the majority of the match as Ivanovic was forced off. They were solid pretty much for the whole game until Essien handballed it
  15. Fulham have one of the best records in london derbies this season and have taken points of us and Arsenal away from home this season. Can see Spurs drawing Everton are one tough cookie at goodison as we know and they'll be determined to finish above Liverpool and so will give it there all. Arsenal have lost 3 key players and haven't won a game since early April and they'll be going to a west brom side hoping to give Woy a good send off. Should we beat Liverpool, then we have a decent chance
  16. All of our best coaches have been the good man-management types such as Mourinho, Hiddink and Ancelloti. And that is what the club needs, we just don't suit those manager types who like full control so the likes of Capello really won't be much good. Like someone says, its the club that identifies most of our targets anyway and it is for the manager to give the ok. And imo i think RDM will be perfect for this supposed rebuild, one of his strengths is communicating with the players and thats what we'll need in the rebuild to tell the likes of Lamps that he won't be playing as much and to explain why he's been dropped. He's already shown at WBA that he can play good football as they played with an attractive style. I have a feeling that Roman will give him a one year deal, as its likely that Pep and maybe Mourinho will be available in a year. If he does a good job then his deal will be extended, if it fails then he'll go for pep. That's my take on it anyway
  17. The thing is though the only managers that wouldn't be a risk here would be Mourinho or Hiddink. Everyone else such as Pep, Loew etc present a similar type of risk to just giving the job to RDM
  18. The thing is there isn't much he could have done, we were already set up perfectly for a counter attack which could have worked out in our favour with Liverpool attacking. He made the changes at the right time as Liverpool still had to be wary of us on the break, if he goes and makes a defensive substitute at 20 minutes, then what? We just sit back for 20 minutes even eeper than we were before and invite more pressure. If we had somebody on the bench who was good at retaining the ball and wasn't subbed on then i would have agreed with you, but Meireles and Essien both don't keep the ball as well as Lampard and Mikel
  19. Luiz and Cahill will probably get some minutes against Blackburn and im sorry but to say your not worried about Tymoschuk anymore after that game? Drogba is a completely diifferent animal to every other striker in the world
  20. Cech Ferreira Ivanovic Terry Bertrand Essien Romeu Ramires Meireles Sturridge Torres
  21. Such a big game, if we can somehow manage a win and Bolton can manage to win against Spurs, then i'll be confident that top 4 is ours
  22. How do you think we'll do Jaimin, considering you watch the Bundesliga and Bayern i presume?
