  1. 40million euros is around 32m pounds isn't it? Even better!
  2. I'd love if we could just get an out and out winger too (which was the beauty of Hazard before), but like you said there just a dying animal now. I think though with Hulk if he does come here, his game may slightly change in the sense that he'll pass more because he'll know he won't be the best player at the club and the pressure won't be on him to do everything like at Porto where there quite reliant on him. He does like to go to the Byline too and then get a ball into the area where hopefully Torres could be lurking. Anyway, i just really want him to sign at the end of the day and now getting quite worried that he won't
  3. I'll see your best free kick ever......and raise it with the FASTEST free kick ever http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/05/23/eddy-bosnar-the-fastest-free-kick-ever_n_1538569.html?ref=uk-football
  4. Why do you think he's not right though? Thats something im struggling to understand
  5. Just went on the Bayern forum and had such a laugh. They were NOT happy
  6. I'm not sure Rodriguez would go on to play at the level that Hulk is at, he may do though. Although the good thing about Hulk instead of buying Rodriguez is that we could buy and not stunt the development of players like Piazon too heavily as he's at the age where players like Piazon can learn from him. Benefit of Hulk over rodriguez too is the fact that he's also a pretty decent striker too and so can cover if needed
  7. Its funny because if Rodriguez did 'outshine' Hulk then surely Porto wouldn't have been willing to sell Rodriguez in January for a mere 15m as said by Leif and instead get rid of Hulk and not fight for him to stay Anyway decent game from the big man, certainly not his best but still impressive enough
  8. James Rodriguez has not outshone Hulk. Rodriguez on his day is great, but Porto have already put a 30m price tag on him, so your thing about 'cheaper isn't true. Hulk has also had the problem of this season of being targeted. After last season where he shone in Avb's side, teams have doubled up on him on the right and yet he's still had a great season
  9. Leif has spoken! No more 'Team for Next season' threads
  10. The funny thing about Leif is that the only player which i've seen him actually be happy about is Youssouf Mulumbu.....
  11. Hulk and Lucas Moura are in the Brazil team thats playing in an hour. Can watch on firstrowsports
  12. Wasn't trying to make an excuse for his selfishness haha, just saying that we can't write him off yet
  13. ESPN saying Roman will give Robbie a 1 year deal
  14. You said that Hulk isn't the type of player is needed, when there is clear evidence to show that he is the type of player that we've been missing for the past two seasons out wide. And the only reason i was saying your opinion was wrong was because firstly you stated that Robinho was a youtube player? Robinho caused havoc in the brazilian league, La Liga and even to an extent in England when he came to Man City. There's a reason why he's played for Madrid and Ac Milan. Out of interest how many times have you even seen Hulk play?
  15. So we can add Maradona to the list of footballing names who have given robbie praise http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2012/05/26/3127803/maradona-hails-chelsea-after-champions-league-success “Tactics, humility and intelligence played a major role. Inheriting a divided and defeated team, Di Matteo first had to restore harmony in his dressing room. “Above all, he instilled in his team a warrior spirit and character, getting the most out of his players by making the forwards defend and the midfielders attack. “Chelsea were not the most talented team in the Champions League but they were certainly the team that wanted to win the most. Hats off to this group of veteran warriors,” he concluded.
  16. Come on give him a break, he's only 22 and was his first full season in a first team. Thats a lot of pressure on him and he was playing in a position that was unnatural to him, he needs to be given a chance to show what he can do in his natural decision before we think about getting rid of him
  17. In my head i think he's united bound, but i have this nagging feeling that he'll surprise everyone and pick us
  18. Alright if you want to get all sarcastic and stupid about it. Just providing some further information that i found out and anyway you say he's not the type of player we need? Well i had know idea that we don't need a wide player that can provide assist, goals, pace, power to our team as well as scare the daylights out of opposition full backs. Maybe we should just go for the non existent AVAILABLE wingers out there. Logic
  19. Well then, trust me when i say that your very wrong
  20. Appointing a manager is a lengthy process, its only been a week since the final. Everyone needs to time to relax from that first and then there'd need to be interviews etc and his plans for the team etc. A week is by no means a long time so i don't think we could use that to think Rdm hasn't got the job
  21. Pep = Expensive gamble RDM = Cheap gamble I know what the smart thing to do is. Roman?
