  1. For those who say Rdm isn't attacking basing it on those two games., his whole record i'm pretty sure was: 21 games, 42 goals. So he knows how to attack We're trying to bring through youth? Rdm actually gave Lukaku a chance, played sam and played Bertrand in a CL final Getting the best out of players? Look at how much better the likes of Mikel and Torres started performing. Just imagine what RDM could do with Hazard Pep is a brilliant coach too and we'd be lucky to have either of them in charge
  2. We don't even know Josh's best position yet either. He's either played in the No 10 role or in the double pivot for club and country. He's got a long way to go yet
  3. Lampard can't play every game anyway. I'd much rather see Ramires come into that role from time to time and develop there rather than Meireles
  4. It would be deluded to think he'd get us to play like Barcelona, Guardiola isn't as naive as Avb. That Barcelona philosophy comes from years of investment and work into their academy structure where these ideas were drummed into those players as a kid. Guardiola isn't an idiot and know's we couldn't do an aggressive pressing and attacking game, maybe in a couple of years we'd switch to something similar, but in the short term i think he'd just get us to play better football. Only one team can do what Barca do, which is why it'd be different if he comes here
  5. Even though it might not be necessary, think about it long term. One thing i hate is this obsession with Josh, the kid is still like 19 and isn't ready yet which isn't a big deal. Cleverley is making it at united at the age of 21 and Josh still has a lot of maturing to do physically. in terms of CM's we currently have: Lamps, Mikel, Romeu, Meireles, Essien, Ramires, KDB, Josh. By next summer i think both Meireles and Essien will both be gone (Essien probably going this summer) and KDB and Josh are both likely to go on loan too. That would leave us with the options for this coming season as Lampard, Mikel, Romeu, Ramires, Meireles. Adding in someone like Modric is a bit of a luxury, but in the long term would be brilliant as Lampard can't play every game and is slowing down
  6. Dan Levene ‏@BluesChronicle Major Chelsea rebuild under-way. Eden Hazard all but sorted. Hulk 90% complete. Talk of renewed interest in Luka Modric. Interesting summer. The rebuild is beginning!

  8. On his account, Hulk has recently followed Hazard and Mata
  9. I think what we're also forgetting is that Hulk was part of Avb's brilliant attacking and pressing Porto team which meant every player had to work hard. He could still be used to help out defensively as i'm sure he's got that work rate to get forward and back, but because of becoming the best player at porto last season, he didn't need to worry about that stuff
  10. Why would it be the end of Ramires though? He can play in the double pivot, like he did for Brazil. None of us give Ramires enough credit for the work he does, he adapted his game to become a winger and he can just as easily adapt to become a CM in a double pivot which is more his natural position anyway. He'll still be used as a winger for rotation, signing Hulk means we'll have Hulk, Hazard, Mata, Ramires, Marin as options for those 3 positions. This 'end of Ramires' stuff is overstated
  11. That's his account i think. He's tweeted Lucas Leiva and got a reply from him too
  12. Don't worry its Jason Burt. He's just as bad as the Daily Fail reporters
  13. Malouda is likely to go and i'm sorry Ramires is more of a stop gap winger. He'll be brilliant in games where we need to counter, but against majority of the teams in the PL he proves on the most part useless just because he's not a winger. He lacks the crossing and dribbling skills to make that his permanent position and so he's a good option to have, but Hulk is a must for me. In Hazard and Mata we've got two technically brilliant players and in order to balance that out, a power player would be ideal. A Hazard-Mata-Marin could easily be bullied out the game whereas a Hazard-Mata-Hulk looks much more threatening. If we get Hulk this would leave us with: Left Wing: Hazard, Marin Attacking mid: Mata, Hazard, Meireles Right Wing: Hulk, Ramires Striker: Torres, Sturridge, Hulk (Lukaku) The problem we had this season was having a shit squad and we're fighting for 7 trophies this year. Hulk would make us a bigger threat while giving us some depth. Luckily it seems as though he'll be joining soon. Madrid play with Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria, Benzema, City with Silva, Aguero, Tevez, Nasri etc and if we want to move away from this defensive team, then buying Hulk gives us another reason too do so.
  14. Who said anything about Fifa? And how are you sure we won't sell both? If they don't feature in our plans there'll be off. I find it telling how we've been linked with Fellaini, Witsel, Garcia, Mulumbu, Tiote and Modric who all play in that position, so its not wide of the mark to think this isn't possible
  15. Ok i liked this guys facebook page a while back called 'Football Transfer' and i thought he'd be one of those douchebag transfer sites claiming to be 'in the know' but after a while he started to get transfers right and give information that would eventually come out in the press a few days later. He even said in January that Avb was in danger of getting the sack to which people were replying to him that he was rubbish and didn't know jack shit, and then look what happened. He's got over 8,000 likes on his page and since he's been proved right on so many occassions i kind of believe him now. Anyway he posted this an hour ago: NEWS IN : Chelsea FC has agreed personal terms with FC Porto and Brazil international striker/winger HULK . I'm hearing that Hulk could become Chelsea's most expensive player in terms of salary : 10M euros / year !! ( Fernando Torres is actual #1 @8M euros ). Problem #1 : FC Porto President Pinto Da Costa is furious that Chelsea lowered its initial 'informal' offer from 43M to 35M euros . On the ...Portuguese side , Hulk wont move for less than 40M euros . Problem #2 : The 'Heavy' Eden Hazard deal is forcing Chelsea FC to clean up its roster before finalizing any deal with FC Porto . I'm told that Chelsea is hesitant in raising its bid because They are looking at the possibility of a 3rd 35-40M transfer . It could take up to 2 weeks to finalize a deal for HULK !! p.s : Hulk wants to be part of Brazil Football Olympic Team and wants to play it as a Chelsea player !! You can choose to see this as rubbish, but i think he's probably on to something here as im damn sure we're probably also considering getting Modric again or paying out our arses for Guardiola or something. If he proves to be right once again, then its good news
  16. We'd only need him if we got rid of Essien and maybe Meireles. Romeu is cover for Mikel and Fellaini would be good because he can play in the double pivot as well as in the 3 of the 4231. He combines his technical ability with great defensive work and strength. Having Mikel, Romeu, Lampard, Ramires and Fellaini for options in the pivot next season would be brilliant
  17. Think he should be used in the double pivot and in games where we counter attack, be used on the right/left
  18. So do we want him to have a stormer on the weekend and rip Cahill and Terry apart? Or get dominated and taken out of the game by Lampard?
  19. Should we sell Essien then i'd love to bring in Fellaini, thus giving us the options Mikel, Romeu, Lampard, Ramires, Fellaini which is how many players we need for the double pivot and would give us so much strength defensively while having some technical ability.
  20. But the difference is that the City fans aren't just calling Hazard shit, there saying we're a shit club and how he won't win anything here etc. Decided to pay a trip to the united forum too, and that was even funnier Now i'm just gonna enjoy some youtube videos of our new player
  21. Don't know why, but i decided to go check the man city forum. Think i had the biggest laugh to myself in ages, the way there fans talk you'd think there barcelona and some even rate Bale above Hazard! I hope he goes and trashes them in the community shield
  22. I think its strange that the story from L'Equipe saying that its us came out yesterday and he said today that his mind is made up
  23. Do you think the see you later part means he'll reveal today?
  24. Was it a radio interview or something? Not even joking, but thats kind of got me excited as those were all the players that i wanted at the start of summer (apart from VDW)so that we could play a team like this Cech Ivanovic Luiz Terry Cole Fellaini Mikel Hulk Mata Hazard Torres Then we have Cahill, Ramires, Lampard, Marin, Bertrand, Romeu and Sturridge all rotating in there It would have been fun to take Modric off Spurs though
