  1. How is it common sense? We've lost anelka, kalou, drogba and probably malouda. They could easily be replaced by marin, hazard, hulk and Moses. 4 in 4 out. And Moses isn't mediocre
  2. @_GoncaloLopes: #mufc offer for Moutinho didn't seduce #fcporto . With Hulk leaving they aren't desperate to sell other players Hmmm Hulk leaving? Agent saying that he wants a PL move. It's only gotta be a matter of time
  3. Kakuta and Sturridge count as homegrown players, if there leaving then they'd need to be replaced in order to comply with the rules. Sturridge and Moses are virtually the same too. Moses is a striker who's been moved to the wing like Sturridge was this season. Like I said, I doubt we'd go for Moses instead of hulk unless there is some kind of plan for our current players. That's my point.
  4. For all we know we might be losing Sturridge or kakuta etc. we wouldn't make a signing for the sake of it. The board know what there doing
  5. He'll be a brilliant squad player. It's a good signing
  6. There's no link, they just talk about transfer news and speculation going around on the actual channel
  7. SSN were doing that transfer round up thing and then said that we were in negotiations for Hulk
  8. I would hate to have Ramires as our RW next season
  9. I'm pretty sure Levy's not going to have a choice but to sell to a PL club (Us or United). Some have said a deal with madrid has gone cold because sahin doesn't want to move. Why would Modric go to PSG either? I think it'll probably be United, but doubt Levy has much choice in this matter
  10. Pretty sure we'll pay a high price for both a RW and CM
  11. Mceachran isn't as defensively minded at all, his positioning isn't particularly great. That isn't his fault because he was brought up as a number 10/attacking midfield. The Mceachran debate really does annoy me, he's a very talented kid. Not many players in the PL make it in a top 4 club at the age of 19 especially now. The kid has loads of time on his side
  12. Anything Spurs could offer, we could easily trump. Its the big clubs i'm worried about
  13. Moutinho has a 40m euros release clause and after his performances at the euros you just know that Porto will look at getting a price very close to that. So in terms of price there's about a 5m difference. Modric > Moutinho
  14. Possession > Physicality
  15. Well its a pretty big deal when it comes to transfer fees actually. Something tells me Danny wouldn't be happy as being backup from his personality and i think he'd only sign on with certain assurances. Losing him on a free would be even more disastrous and we wouldn't be a laughing stock of the footballing world either considering the player we'd get in return and the possible knock on effects of the signing based on performances. 25m + Sturridge and i'd take it, but thats just my opinion
  16. Lol, no but the improvement shown over the course of the season should suggest that we can't class him as 'not ready' yet after showing some class in these games
  17. Lets wait and see first, was not given a fair crack of the whip last season. His cameo against Liverpool and performance against Blackburn suggest that he's hugely improved. Judge him after a few games
  18. That all depends on how Lukaku does Pre Season and also on if we sign Moses who is naturally a striker too
  19. Hmmm, he's entering the last year of his contract too which you have to bare in mind too and we'd be offloading a player who's more likely to play as a backup next season too, while bringing in someone who's getting into our first team and has a big impact on our style of play. With Feruz only time will tell, but the signs are positive. Bamford certainly has as much potential as sturridge though, he'll be quality. Not saying Sturridge wouldn't have an impact on the team but out of Luka and Sturridge, its obvious who's going to make the bigger impact
  20. I'd love to keep sturridge to, but if Spurs were willing to accept say 25m/30m + Sturridge i think we'd be foolish not to take it. We have strikers with just as much potential as Sturridge in Lukaku, Feruz, Bamford and possibly even Moses if it goes through. Having Modric has a huge impact on our first team, having Sturridge doesn't
  21. If Avb really is coming in then its probably going to be good news for us on the modric front. We saw how he deals with transfer requests at Chelsea...
  22. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/329747/Chelsea-set-to-beat-Real-Madrid-to-Luka-Modric-?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Probably a load of rubbish, but a rumour nonetheless. I am one of Hulk's biggest fans, but tbh i'd rather see us get Modric if we can't get both of them
