  1. At this rate i want him to shoot-on-site. its the only way he'll realize that we need goals from him to win the EPL race and make us a formidable team. Along with his brazilian counter-part Oscar.
  2. Wasteful. I don't care if we won 2-0 that performance to me was a bit worrisome, how many on goal chnaces did we have only for each one to go 10 yards past the post or out for a corner or anything BUT a goal. When we get matched against the big boys, as much as we rely on our defense we got to take our chances as they will be few and far between against teams like RM, Barca and Bayern. I'm happy with with the win don't get me wrong, but come-on, this game should have easily ended 4/5-0, easily. That immense backheel-flick Hazard did to put torres through only for the usual to occur had me staring at the screen in disbelief. But it's whatever, we'll deal with these problems later. Great win tonight. Hazard-MOTM.
  3. And it's only JM who could have pulled this off with little- to no media backlash. That whole AVB circus  . Damn what a nightmare that was when he was in charge.
  4. I think a lot of the praise for City was due to their success against us, and subsequent rise to the scene. Beating us in the Community Shield (remember how insane this forum got after that loss), Knocking us out of the FA Cup, winning the League, and all those loses to them in those exhibition games aided this fear that they may have our number. Add in the fact they were out-right dominating every and all opposition they met with all those thrashings and people got carried away. Lucky for us we know how to win when it matters, and have a longer history than them doing so.
  5. One word:School. Honesty dont have time to really follow the discussions nd such,, been trying the past couple of days. Thanks Barbara!
  6. it honestly just hit me how happy and relaxed i can be as a CFC to know that we have one of the greatest coaches in all of sports leading this team once again. Imagine we were still with some incompetent/stop-gap manager? We would have been battling with the likes of Everton/Liverpool and Spuds to win 4th place and even if we did attain CL football it would have been with no real sense of direction or identity. For the past 3 seasons, match days we often a mystery of which Chelsea was going to show up. But now we know it'll be a tight defense, high pressure at times, accommodated by face paced counter-attacks. Having JM at the club again has just hit me, (honestly). When we were defending a free-kick and the camera flashed to our defense/midfield, seeing the likes of JT, Cahill, Matic, Luiz and Ivan along with Cech in goal defending in the box had me like Damn! that's the Chelsea i know and love. Big, physical lads who are so potent defensively and equally as intimidating, so when the likes of City or whoever come calling we have just as much skill defensively as so going forward. When the whole world knows what you want to do, yet they still can't stop it, that's the mark of a great team. And we certainly are not a great team yet, but we are surely working our way there as we build that identity of a typical JM team. Chelsea are once again an intimidating side, we are once again a team to be reckoned with week in-week out, we once again have an identity and are once again in the title race. (oh how long it's been! ) We have the fortress that is Stamford Bridge, we have the size and strength across the pitch, we have the cohesion in attack (all be it just the Striker position), and most of all we have the iconic leader who can win games either with his mind or words. It's been a long 3 years (Bar the CL win and FA Cup), and in my eyes we are at the end of what has been a long and dark transition period. So let's get back to our winning ways! KTBFFH! :blue scalf:
  7. Exactly, seems we only go top when beating the team ahead of us. For many seasons in a row now when we have the glorious chance to leap-frog a team we fail to win the game.
  8. Have been a big fan of Kroos, what an addition he would be though to this team... just gonna sit tight till Jan 31, cant get my hopes too high yet.
  9. im going....im going....im going to miss the game.
  10. Heard they could be targeting this man in the summer, would do wonders i think.
  11. Yes,, none have really done anything too special if you ask me. Mata hasnt had much game time but when he's on you can tell somethings not right atm. And with oscar, this praising of balance he brings to the team is costing us going forward as we have no real creator on the pitch. Some one posted the stats of the few chances he's created this season. So all in all yeah our CAMs aren't quite there yet.
  12. Even with spurs poor goal tally from open play watch us concede 2 goals to them. 2-2 is my prediction. Would rather play mata but in reality none of our CAMs are in good form atm. We need Hazard to show up and be the difference maker.
  13. Shiiieeeet,, was bound to happen i guess but that was a weak goal.
  14. Solid in defense, threatening on the counter. Happy with that first-half overall everyone is doing their job. Schurrle has been a menace on the rw.
  15. will give Jose another option to think about, and will hopefully make players work that much harder in training. Welcome to the club Willian! Cant wait to see him runnin down the wing in that Chelsea Blue.
  16. Surely we can't strike-out 3 times in a row with bringing in new strikers? Have high hopes on this one.
  17. If we can take one thing from this match, it's that Terry still has it. What a rock he was tonight. (Also Cahill) Was beginning to think he had lost a step but he showed he is still capable of Match saving interceptions and clearances. I was also happy with the work-rate of Schurrle and Hazard as they really got back in defense all night-long. These are the type of performances that JM and co. will look to when the team knows they need to defend. Great job seeing the game till the end. Now let's focus on Bayern.
  18. Think we have more passes to United players than passes to our own team-mates.
  19. Hazard has been pushed off the ball twice by Valencia, and It's the same old same old with Lamps in CM, and KDB looks scared or something when attacking needs to be more direct. I would put Mikel on for Lamps (to give Rambo more freedom in attack) Also, we need to start passing better overall. Too many lackluster passes.
  20. Umm who's leading the all-time head to head series again?......yeah that's what i thought!
  21. And there people were gushing over City over one game, if there's one thing i don't trust about City it's their mental strength.
  22. He won't go on loan, and i'm certain he will get enough playing time. I believe in his ability, and if anyone should be afraid of Willian coming in it should prob be Schurrle and Moses.
