PSV WINNING!

Insane game!!

is that any different from expecting a new potential manager to specifically win the Europa league? I dont think it is, im going to assume you do. It basically boils down to, do I/you think turning around league form or winning the Europa league are of the same difficulty. I think it is, considering this squad ismore talented than the one that won Europa in 2013, and were champions of the PL just last season. And you can throw in our great success with interim managers as well.
-
Draxler, wtf was that?!
-
Same could have been said with Rafa, RDM, Hiddink, etc.. I think chelsea fans have the right to entertain such thoughts.
-
Because most likely we'll be under a different manager. Thats why people have this confidence of winning the Europa league. And I can understand that thought process as well too.

No doubt I see those same errors too. I came away with the same thoughts after their away match at the Etihad, but like i mentioned earlier, all managers have their faults. Pellegrino only coaches one side of the ball, and is incredibly naive when it comes to approaching European matches. There aren't many managers who are pragmatic across Europe, or even at the other top clubs. Carlo, Pellers, Wenger, Pep, Luis Garcia, all die with their philosophy till the bitter end, and hope their players are better than yours on that given day and que sera sera. I'm personally not a fan of that approach, but a shift in ideology is definitely needed at Chelsea. And if it means witnessing more 3-3 draws, and 3-2 losses, than we are accustomed to witnessing as Chelsea fans, so be it. Too much attacking talent, is being wasted right now. A lot of our players technical ability is regressing. We need to give the expansive approach a proper go, (AVB's try was sabotaged and doesn't really count imo). A style of football that plays to the strengths of Hazard/Cesc and our tremendous talent in the youth ranks is needed. Hiring a Sampaoli/Simeone type is not too different from the JM school of football. Obviously they have been more successful than the latter in recent years, and have been very effective in properly implementing their style, but the pragmatism is still very much there. And tbh, we will continue to be poor defensively until we properly revamp our defense. Azpi and Zouma are the only players capable of winning 1v1 duels on a consistent basis, which is needed for all great defenses. JT/Ivan/Cahill just do not cut it. That's the way I see it. Who would be you ideal choice to succeed JM?

Unai Emery. I'm putting all my faith that he should be the man to take-over at Chelsea in the summer of 2016. Sevilla play real football, and he knows how to win in European competitions (obviously this season hasn't been the case, but still). The fact that he knows how to approach European matches should not go unnoticed, just look at Mr. Pelligrino. If you gave Emery better players, most notably Eden Hazard, i'm sure he'll have us back to the status quo, while not abandoning the team's offensive play. No future replacement is perfect, all managers have their flaws, but I think Emery should be our guy. Think he'd be able to get the most out of our current squad and the youngster's as constituted, seeing as how we most likely won't be adding many or any top WC players in the summer.

One of the worst displays I've ever seen.. He looked like he was in a maze that entire first half.

Hollywood FC! Who's writing this script?
-
Fuck off.. The lot of them.

Not really, we ran away with the PL title with less talent last season. This team SHOULD be running away with it. Their performing worse than last season but have more talent. This is what I HATE about Man City. Because they'll get away with underporforming because they make it "exciting". When they win the PL title (which they still will) it'll be romanticized and nobody will criticize them at all for anything because it plays into the narrative of making the Premier League, "the most exciting league in the world". So infuriating to watch them get away with it year after year again. And when they fuck it up in Europe like they always do, it's just an after thought. Fuck. Off.

Just realized we can only climb one spot in the table if things go our way. Wow! This is going to be a very long process indeed.
-
Please Roberto Mancini.. Take him out of JM's hands before we do something stupid and lffer him a new 1yr deal.
-
What a goal from Deulofeu Edit: and a nice assist to Lukaku..

What are the chances a council, the CPO or any other outside force thwarts the clubs plans? Is it safe to celebrate yet or?? Don't want to be let down like I was at the Battersea Power Stadium plans

agreed he has gotten better.. But he still has the tendency to 'panic' of sorts and boot the ball out when he clearly has time to compose himself, which shows he doesn't have the greatest belief in his ability to dribble out of danger. And I think it's also his 'style' of passing. Zouma seems to have to shift his entire body before he makes a long pass/cross which is makes it appear awkward. Then we look at a player like John Stones who has supreme confidence in his ability to carry the ball and dibble his way out of danger. On the plus side, Zouma is young. And if a different manager forces us to play out of the back, he could garner more belief in his technical ability.

Wishlist Alexandre Lacazette

he's the man we should be targeting.. Proper competition for Costa is JM is just gonna continue ignoring Remy as well. -
Yu Yu Hakusho by far my favorite Anime of All-Time.. Whatching the whole series again, the nostalgia (even through they only aired the Dark Tournament Saga) is crazy. Puts me back to when I was 6/7 watching Toonami on Cartoonnetwork. The Feels. Just felt like sharing.

Just happy to say I was able to see MSN in action.. Absolutely unreal how lethal and gifted they are. They took the Miami Heat's idea of a Big 3 and went all Super-Saiyan with it.
-
Can you see him starting a Champions League match against Atletico Madrid, PSG, Real Madrid? Does he hold possession well under pressure? Will he be influential in big games? I don't know the answers to those questions, but that's ultimately what it comes down to. We need a proper #10 who can pull the strings and be trusted to start the big games. No more or this Cesc Fabregas as #10 because we lack the ability to impose our will on other teams.

I love how LvG can play "archaic" football by throwing on Fellaini and telling his wingers to lump it in the box. But when David Moyes does it, he has 'small club mentality' and Rio Ferdinand (or whoever it was) says that Man United deserve to play better football. And LvG has been at united for 2 years now. Got to love that hypocrisy from United fans and the media.
