  1. Fair play, Nemanja, fair play. Wanted him gone with the quickness in the summer, as I completely despised him as a footballer. Was hoping him along with Oscar would leave Chelsea by any means necessary. But he's reverted back to 2014 Matic. As the ultimate wildcard in CM doing the little things very well: recycling posession, picking out the right killer passes (5 assists on the season now?!?!), making just enough passes with opposite foot to keep things fluid, and timing his tackles very well. Long may it continue Matic.
  2. What a win. What a performance. Players have been fantastic as of late. We went the whole month of October and Today without concerding a league goal. THAT's the Chelsea I know and love!
  3. Michael Ballack is a MUST follow for all Chelsea fans on twitter. @CHOULO19 I KNOW, you must be following him lmaooo Always tweeting about Chelsea, Legendary stuff.
  4. But he still gets the platform to spout his nonsense.
  5. That's the mark of top coach imo. He didn't have to turn ALL our limited players into very good footballers but he's had the midas touch with not only Alonso, Pedro, Moses, but also Matic and Cahill. That's insane. Absolutely amazing coaching from Conte. Y'all didn't want to believe me when I was defending Conte early in the season. Evan had people calling for him to get the sack, like what?! Pep Guardiola even stated in his new book that Antonio Conte was the manager he was most wary of challenging him in the league. After these past 5 matches, I rest my case. Just give this man the world-class players he needs, remove the deadwood (Willian, Oscar, etc.) and watch the magic happen. Conte has these managers shook out here with his 3/4/3. Feels good when you got fans from all the rival clubs praising your team on the TL. That was a footbaling clinic on display. ANTONIOOOOOOOO Edit: look at that passing map. Never thought I'd ever live to see the day of juego de posicion at Chelsea. Tears.
  6. Cost looks happy as well. No bickering with Refs and whatnot. 👍
  7. That was absolutely breathtaking stuff from the Boys in Blue. I've been clapping and screaming in excitement in my living room like a mad man. We've scored now 14 league goals without reply since the switch to 3-4-3. Orgasmic stuff this.
  8. Im over here Crying Lmfaooooooo Best thread on Football Twitter in a min.
  9. Agree with all your points. Would also like to add, that if we kept possession and sought to dominate the opposition we would leave ourselves to be very exposed against teams. I mean just look at the Swansea match. It would also mean players like Cahill, Luiz (whose been great for us but is always liable for a brain fart), and Matic (who again, has been much improved but may resort to his old poor play of dily dallying on the ball). I like how the 343 has stabilized our season so far, but it must be said we haven't been tested yet with pacy strikers who like to get on the end of long balls too much. Will be interesting to see how our back three deal with the sheer power AND pace of Lukaku and Bolasie.
  10. And he's doing the same with Ibrahimovich rn
  11. We just pulled a Juve, like they did yeaterday vs Napoli.
  12. Fucking love this man. If he gets Top 4 with this squad ,which I still doubt will be the case, he deserves a statue.
  13. Southampton have the best defense in the PL, think this ends 0-0. Just want the same XI that started vs MU
  14. I was just joking. People always comment "always rated him" for a player they never rated or had no opinion on.
  15. He was one of the most clinical Striker last year. Being clinical is something Michy excels at. His xG/shot was off the charts last season. Not watching the match mind you, watching the Manc Derby.
  16. It was supposed to be Radja AND Ngolo. Atleast, that's how I always understood it. Because the squad still needs an overhaul of CM options.
  17. Hopefully he gets a start on Wednesday vs the Hammers. So happy to see him playing for us and that Conte has taken a liking to him. Long may his progression as a serious CM option continue.
  18. Famtastic performance today. As someone earlier pointed out, Our season depends on the play of Alonso. He just needs to be a competent LB. He may get skinned here or there, but it cannot mirror Ivanovic levels. Still cannot believe Kenedy was sent on loan to play as a LWB at Watford instead of for us. Because any injury or poor play from Alonso, and we're right back to Ivanovic.
  19. I tried to tell you fam. Conte coaches passing patterns, and always tries to position players so they have 2/3 passing options. Conte wants to exert his will over the opposition, by holding the ball and if having lost it, win the ball back quickly through actualy coordinated pressing movements. If Conte was given £150M like Pep and JM, or atleast just got Nainngolan & Koulibaly. We'd be in a much better space. But with The likes of Pedro, Matic, Cahill, Oscar Alonso, and even Moses who luckily for us has been balling so far (thank God), it's always going to be an uphill battle. Atleast the team are slowly mirroring Conte on the pitch, and taking well to his instructions. yeah he fucked up big vs Arsenal/Liverpool but that was bound to happen as he tries to understand the League and our players strengths/weaknesses. But the calls to sack him or deem him unfit for the position were uncalled for, and baseless. Long may the 3-4-3 lead to happy matchdays.
