I think we need to send him on loan next season to Italy or Spain to get his value up and then just sell him to recover any losses. I have pretty much given up on him. It is a shame. I was against his signing, I wanted Lukaku because in England physicality is important. On his debut, I thought he is going to be good player for us. His game is very clean, much cleaner than Costa but after a few run of games clearly he struggle with EPL physicallity. I thought missing wc will help him, because he can focus on getting stronger. But nothing happen, he is still just too soft.

You are absolutely right. I know that it will take time changing the way we play. Certainly after two counter attacking manager in Conte and Mourinho. Although our offense still look lethargic but if you look at todays performance, the addition of jorginho actually improve our attacking performance compare to last season. His passing may not be the same level as fab but he can make pass to player between the lines. The problem many times if you watch from today's game when we get the ball in dangerous position, It turn into nothing. There is no partnership or connection between player. Just watched how shaqiri connect really well with Salah, same with firmino with salah and mane. That is what we need, the problem is we have one star player, two old wingers, one striker who is on his way out and another striker who is kinda hopeless. I don't know what kind partnership that we need to build. I honestly hope that Kovacic and Hazard can build that relationship.

Other than Hazard, Pedro and maybe rlc at times, I honestly have 0 confidence of any of our player in term of scoring. Kante has scored more than Willian this season in epl. That is just shocking. That was obvious dive. But I knew he won't get ban. Salah and pool are kinda the darling of FA. If what salah did was not a dive, then we don't need Morata to get stronger, he can keep falling down under minimal contact but sadly we will not get any penalty

Actually our last 3 summer has been 2 ok, one disaster. 3 summer ago we signed Luiz, Alonso and Kante. They are still starter. Last summer we signed kepa, kova and jorginho. Three starters. The problem is two summer ago we had disastrous summer (most of us knew it after the window shut) Zappacosta, bakayoko, drinkwater and Morata. One backup rb, two midfielders who won't be here and one questionable striker.

Am I the only one who think that Sarri has a done a wonderful job with this team ??? He inherited a Conte/Mou team and try to change it into a more possession based and attacking team. The fact that we are 4th surprise me. This is far more difficult job compare to Klopp or Guardiola. Klopp inherited an offensive team from Brendan Rodgers, the same with Guardiola from Pellegrini.

Anyone here follow Sarri when he was with Napoli? I have strange feeling about most of his sub, I think he persist of playing one way only. There is player power, that is obvious. SAF was the only manager that is bigger than players, he can basically sack the whole squad without anybody asking question. For me, it is the manager job to make the player to play for him. I think you can sense how loved klopp in pool and how loved Poch in spurs. Manager job is not just tactic but also managing 25 young millionaire to play well together. I may not like it but it is the reality.

They will go on a tear due to motivation to prove Mou wrong and because they have really good player. It is that simple. This United has title contender squad quality, better than us.
