The only other solution in midfield that I can think of other than kova/Barkley - jorgi - kante is Barkley/Mount Kovacic - kante I don't see Lamp playing Jorginho as holder which mean he is pretty much useless.

I honestly don't see anybody get close to city. Liverpool were brilliant last season but in order to keep up they need to get lucky with injury again. City squad is a just a joke. Some of their bench player can start for top 6 club easily

The moment you talk about baka, Drinkwater as potential blocker for mount chance you lost me. They don't play the same role. I don't get it. If you think that mason mount is really good, he will have no problem disposing Kovacic n Barkley.

In standard setup you have 3/4 player staying back. If we want both Jorginho and Kante to sit back. Our rb has to be more offensive. Azpi is not that kind rb. The last time we play 4231 was kinda under jose. But the the two mid were fab and matic. Fabregas is not you typical dpl. He made tons of forward run so you have Matic azpi- Terry - cahill Last year unde Sarri It was Jorgi Rudi - Luiz - azpi Watching Jorginho play, I am not sure he is suited to play further forward. We can try kante - kova. But from last year, kova need a lot work playing that position

Archiless is a nasty injury. I write next season off for both of them. Both should play sparingly next season

I don't think we have any option. We have Bakayoko, Kante - two runner or box to box Ruben - injured Barkley + kova, one has better physical attribute and the other is superior technically. Jorginho - ball mover That is all we have. We basically need a player to play between the lines that is going to be kova and Barkley role.

I honestly have very vague memory of his first few games. But I vaguely remember that I was excited watching his debut and I said he need to get stronger because he looks weak. My problem with Morata is when he receive the ball with back behind the goal, he fall down everytime.

I don't understand what is the redundancy. A ball winner, a passer and a creator (what kova need to do for us) Last year with Hazard we have a wc creator. So our midfield does not need to create much but I don't know about Puli. So we need more, that is why Willian will probably play morebut I need to watch Puli game first.

Hazard finishing is fantastic. Shooting outside the box is not really an essential skill to have. For me I don't understand with this hazard being overrated. Hazard is ridiculously good player to the point that our manager setup our team to compensate his defensively liability. The only problem with Hazard is his drive. I think he said it somewhere that he is not like some athlete like cr who is obsessed with being the best, I don't think hazard has that mentality. He is a more a layback person

I think Neymar and Hazard are pretty much at the same tier. Statistic wise hazard number will definitely be worse because during his time here he has played under defensive manager. If Hazard play for klopp or Pep, I can see his number going up easily. Just look at sterling number.

Puli - striker - willian Kova - kante Jorginho/ Alonso/Emerson - Rudi - Christensen - azpi Kepa I think that is pretty much our starting 11 for next season. I don't see any changes from last season. I think the key is Kovacic. He has a chance to be a star for us.

I think rabiot will play as holder (jorginho) role and Ramsey will play as one of the more advanced midfield. They should be able to play together

Only one change from last season Puli for Hazard. It should have a more balance feel and I can see player like Kovacic shine more

I like this signing. Kovacic is our most talented midfielder but he is a weird player. Technically brilliant, defensively better than ruben and Barkley. The problem with kova is he need to be more aggressive and brave in his passing. It all about decision making imo, and that usually come with game time. If he can get that area better 40m is a bargain for player of kova quality

Kyle walker is a ready made player not sure about wibisaka, I don't watch enough Palace game to judge. They need to move dalot though, there is no point of having two young rb in one team

Nobody predict doom and gloom. I only explain what happen to Ole, and i can see similar thingwith lamp if we are going through rough patch because it will happen and in United case Ole is always blameless. For me, I don't get with Chelsea fans who want Lamp to manage us next season. He is a loved Chelsea legend, he can be our manager anytime he want. It is better for him to develop more as a manager and for us to have better squad where he can have better chance to be successful.
