Guys, I believe I'm being taken to the Bridge by my wife for my 50th next year. Probably the Everton game as its nearest the date. This is my first and probably only chance to see Chelsea at Stamford Bridge despite being a fan for 43 years. What I wondered, what is the best stand or area atmosphere/singing/noise wise. I intend having a ball and want to be at the liveliest area so where should I try and get a ticket ?? Cheers BITC - WATP

No and you'll get locked up if you get caught doing this, people have died as a result of this. Football grounds are not the places to set off or fire flares.

What narks me is he has the cheek to say play me or sell me, start scoring son and someone might want to buy you, until then get the finger out and stake your claim for a start or make yourself worth something. He should have scored with the chip, he didn't need to round Buffon (that sounds bad..) but he wasn't long on and the pitch was bobbly for the first chance. If you tell someone they're shite long enough then they'll believe it and while he doesn't have a pineapple on his head then it might have that effect. Having said that a misfiring Torres for 10 minutes shouldn't carry the can for the rest of the team misfiring for 90.

Why does every no mark, know nothing 'expert' insist on spouting their half arsed opinions on Chelsea and the CL. I've yet to hear a commentary, build up or post match analysis where some clown doesn't mention the semi or final or how surprises can happen and there are no result guarantees. Burley, Lawrenson, Lineker in fact every one I've heard so far has felt the need to say how lucky and/or negative we were. For your information shite for brains we didn't beat the best teams in Europe, the so called best teams couldn't beat us. We won people, they didn't lose it. We are champions on merit alone. Chesney Strachan can take a walk as well.

(Poll) What would you do with Kakuta?

Beggars can't be choosers and Allardyce has very few options. He's no great shakes and neither are his team, don't see any future with that squad or manager - not that I'd want to -
Hi, I think the England squad will be spending a very short period of time in your country soon

I think we've only kept him because it caused so much hassle when he came - he wasn't worth that. I know it was eventualy sorted out for sweetie money but it seemed a whore of a palaver for a teenager. It seems embarassing that he really isn't that good. Punt him to the pikeys on loan - they'll build a team round him and he won't be able to play against us, they'll fall apart and we'll take 15+ off them over the season -
Steve Clarke should be brought back in some capacity - I know I always say that but he's doing hee haw now
-
You're mising my point guys - I didn't mean this guy in particualr I meant generally and the tone of some other posts seemed to think this should influence buying any player. On this guy in particular - he's good, he's good where he is I'm just not that convinced he will be THAT good here.
-
Let's wait and see how he gets on in a big pond wherever he goes.
-
I know it's business sense but I can't be arsed with this hawking our players in continents to "open markets" or sell shirts. It's a bit whorey and to some extent plays a race card. Am I here because I'm good or am I here because I'm Japanese/Korean/Chinese etc and I'll get a game when we're on Sky, just don't like it (and I know that's the way it is - doesn't mean I have to like it or agree with it)

I said in another post that we will be fine. Other great players have come and gone. He has been rewarded well for largely excellent service - that's the deal. I've supported this club for over 40 years and I know many will barely know the club without Drogba but we will manage. I don't think a stand being named after him is appropriate or any other special recognition. He has the love of the Chelsea fans and he knows that. We can't go retiring numbers or naming stands after every great player we have or have had. He was unlayable and unstoppable at times but if it's right for him and us to part then so be it - cheers big man, now who's next.
-
He'll be missed that's for sure. So have many many more before and we have managed. He has been an excellent servant for us most of the time and he has been rewarded so. All good things come to an end and it's probably the right time for him to go all round. When you've got 42 years as a fan under your belt you get used to greats comig and going. I relise many here wil not really have known a Chelsea without Drogba, but trust me we will be fine.
-
Wait and see how he gets on in the EPL, how many wonderkids have gone tits up in abigger pond - if he comes fine, if he doesn't fuck him - he's not Chelsea
-
We've managed thus far without him - if we get him fine, if we don't fine, his loss if he goes elsewhere
-
Don't think anyone has done it harder, truly deserve this mantle - best team in Europe, never said die, always believed we'd win. Beat Barca and the others then beat Bayern in their own place, never meant to win this, were always going to. 25 corners they don't score, we need two - we're better than you, we'r better than everyone
-
We are not fucking glory hunters, we are Chelsea FC. To buy success you need a team to start with, we are not Man Citeh. The heart and mind of this team was not bought it was born and made in Stamford Bridge.

In near tears -which isn't like me - waht did make me cry was a text from my daughter who is studying in Germany. She texted me to say she is now a confirmed Blues fan. It has taken 21 years but she is here now. This is the moment I had in 1970. God bless her and Chelsea. -
