United will finally have their Park replacement. Shame cause I wanted him, but oh well, there are plenty of other players out there we can get.

I like the comment someone made at the bottom: This story suggests that DM sports reporters do have psychic powers indeed. How on earth do they know what Mr. Abrahamovic's thoughts are. This is a guy who as far as I an aware does not give interviews and he certainly does not speak to journalist. My only conclusion as to the source and credibility of this story is that DM reporters are psychic
-
At the beginning of the season so was 90% of all the forum!
-
Yeah but the concept is still the same. This guy is coming over here with some outrageous claim that City will dominate the league for years to come base on what assumption? Cause they got loads of money? Come on men, if you watch this sport how can you say such shit???? Teams with less budget have managed to make good runs. I just gave you the example of Barcelona, then I just gave you the example of Juventus, and now I will give you the example of Borrusia Dormund. Teams that have not had to spend big money to acquire success. His rationale is that of a little child!
-
You don't spend that much on a squad to win so little. It's laughable, it's embarrassing, it's a disaster! Only delusional Madrid fans will think they done good over the past few years after spending so much money!

Is it Time to Start Drogba and Torres Together?
Justin_3d replied to Justin_3d's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
A very split poll by the look of it. I voted yes. Before it did not work cause Torres was a ghost! Now that Torres is getting back in form, and Drogba been on fire for the last few games, it merits a chance. I think it should be tried before the final of the UCL. Is better to test it now, then to try to risk that in the final as some member suggest it. -
Yeah it's silly, cause he automatically writes out Chelsea and United. If either of these two teams get their act straight like Juventus has done in the Serie A, it will give them a good chance of continuing to do good. People say Barcelona is a one rare even, ok understandable! But Juventus is showing us that you don't have to be like Barcelona. You need a good plan. You need your board to make smart signings, and you need a good coach to help your team push you forward.
-
Big spending does not equate to big success. Real Madrid has been spending big for ages, and for the first time in many years are about to get their first tittle. That is a very horrible return. To dominate you need more then just spending big money. Read my Juventus revival thread. They have not spend big and are about to win the Serie A. So again your argument is flaw. Money a lone is not going to help them dominate!
-
His whole point is because they have LOTS of money! Which that is the most dumbest argument you can bring, cause how many times have we learned that money a lone does not bring big success? Look at Barcelona, and compare Madrid. How much Madrid has to spend to try to overturn Barcelona? It's laughable really!
-
Those factors only apply if you got a good manager. Look at Madrid, has more money then us and City, and have been a laughing stock till they got a good manager like Mourinho. So you are blind for not seeing this! Money a lone is not everything!!!
-
So City will dominate cause they won the league? I think you are blind. Cause there is no way in hell a team lead by Mancini will dominate. They will need to throw in another 500 million to make that miracle next season!
-
Good point. Papering the crack has been the number one mistake the club did in the past few years. If we win the CL, our club basically got a lifeline to re-start again. Cause we will be in the next CL, have made some good money, and gotten reputation for winning a CL.
-
Simple, RDM > Mancini. I still think we should be cautious, cause sometimes we can carry the momentum of this season into next season like it happen with Carlo first season, and then second season it went all to shit.
-
You got lucky! But I will be happy cause I don't rate Mancini that much. He will continue and next year if we continue with RDM we should pip them to the tittle. :blue scalf:
-
I think that was more down to United bottling it, something they rarely do at this point in stage.

Is it Time to Start Drogba and Torres Together?
Justin_3d replied to Justin_3d's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
How so? What is the formation you would use and what players? -
It feels like this game will end up in a tie, if City don't kill the game like they did against United in their own home. And Mancini....good thing about City winning, is that the fool of Mancini will continue at the helm!
-
Following on the lead of our goalkeeper Petr Cech on his view of this topic: I wanted to know what is your view on such topic? Is it time to start the dual striker partnership?
-
The only thing that I would say I can get happy about this despite all the "long term" consequences as TX put it, is that City fans will be over the moon if they win the PL. I am very sympathetic to them. I feel their pain of having to endure your neighbors winning for year and year, while you are stuck in mediocrity. If there is any other fans that should get it after our Chelsea fans, is those City fans. They where awesome with us after eliminating Barcelona, so I will be happy for them. Of course next year we will kick your ass!
-
Well once Essien, and Drogba leaves we won't have big powerhouse. And right now Hulk seems to fit that category to give us that difference in the field. Noticed we are going lightweight in the midfield, which is ok, but we still need something to change it up. Powerhouse players have been our trade mark for some time. A certain Hasselbaink before Roman, if anyone remembers? Hulk is the next in breed to follow those steps.
-
Very boring game as expected. United needs a draw, so they don't have to kill themselves. A draw for United gives them the league. And United can easily get a goal from a counter attack. Parking the bus works wonder!
-
AVB brought him, cause he liked attacking football.... Sure did fooled AVB!
-
Interesting and to be honest not surprise. I was expecting something a long the lines... So this is why I think a note of caution is merited. For the job RDM did likewise Hiddink, they deserved at least another year. We should NOT give RDM a 10 year contract. He needs to be tested in one full season. Especially the mid season where most managers tend to get sack because of their lackluster display. If our board is smart enough they will do what Pep did with Barcelona. Keep giving him one year contract till he decides to do something else. One year contract might be the best option for right now.
-
Yeah I don't care if he goes to City cause we will have more money to buy Hulk and Adam Jonhson. Jonhson is still a good players, and being English helps for the homegrown rule. And Hulk I take him over Hazard. We need a new powerhouse!
-
People just don't learn do they? Remember slagging of Ramires as a waste of money? Cahill not good enough for Chelsea cause he is just from Bolton? People need to chill out and wait at least a season before you judge a player. Some players might hit the ground running like Mata and others might take a long time like Ramires.
