Berbatov took about 2 seasons to have one great season before falling back into the shades. So one great season for Torres will not justify his price tag. If he can produce that hypothetical form that he suppose to do this season over a count of 3 seasons, then we will say money well spent.

Well with Hazard being good as he is, the big problem will now be is weather Hazard plays behind the strikers taking Mata position, and Mata moving to the wing? Mata was not really that good when he played in the wing..... Then what happens with Marin? Does he play LW or RW? And where do we put Ramires?

This is what I always said he was brought for the future, so people are ridicules trying to count him now in our present plan. Truth is that he might not be ready for Chelsea first team till a couple of seasons.

Was the most interesting prospect that was not part of the big equation for this season. Giving that he is still young, is best if he stays in England doing the U-19 thing, and the next gen series. Should not be thrown into the first team that soon during the season. And neither a loan should be considered at this point in time!

If Kakuta keeps playing like he did yesterday in the rest of his per-season games, then it's goodbye for him. As he don't want another loan, so club will have no choice but to sell him. Pity.

He was good in the first per-season game, and I think most people here are not surprised since most here where saying that Marin could shine big due to his low profile move and got so much to prove. He has the right attitude....but if he is not going to pass much, then he might as well become a bit frustrating down the road like a certain Malouda.

Don't think he was that good. Not good enough in the Wing position, and taking spot in the CM which we are good with Lampard and Meireles till one gets sold, and not to mention the incoming Oscar. So just from this game I think he merits a loan, but lets wait and see how the rest of the pre season goes.
