  1. I hope Danny won't be forgotten like SWP was... yes, I admit, I liked SWP and was angry that he didn't get a proper run. If Danny gets going, he will be a major player for us.... we need a confident and somewhat egoistic dribbler like Robben used to be.
  2. If this game ends injury-free, then I will be happy, even if we lost... and pre-season will have been a major success in that matter.
  3. Cech Ivanovic - Alex - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Lampard Sturridge - Drogba - Malouda Anelka, Kalou, Bosingwa, Luiz, Benayoun, McEachran and Torres often used for rotation. That is if we don't sign any new players, I'm not gonna speculate with non-Chelsea players just yet... first post said that Falcao deal is almost confirmed Shows how unreliable those speculations really are.
  4. I think it was after Euros, he was very good there and most big clubs wanted him... his price was high thanks to euros performances.
  5. can't see it happening, sorry
  6. That's not the point... the point is we, fans, are disappointed that he is like that. We were hoping he was a sensible talent who wanted to play for us... apparently, he doesn't, and that's disappointing.
  7. Maybe he should change his boots, perhaps he'd be more consistent then
  8. surely he can't be that delusional... it's maybe his release clause. nobody in their right mind would refuse a proper offer... I mean if we offered 80M, you think they would still ask 100M? I doubt that... But I don't think that Hamšik is even our target anyway.
  9. People still think that managers are the main negotiators? AVB can say whatever he wants, but it's up to the suit-wearing businessmen to clinch deals. I definitely have a feeling that AVB presented the board with his targets, because he's hinted it in his interviews (saying there MAY be additions), but it's not up to him to get the signature on paper. With the overtake of sheikhs and other multibillionaires, it has become harder and harder for Chelsea to remain a dominant side in the transfer market as it was some years ago.
  10. Just dropping from the squad and throwing into reserves would be disrespectful, for all they've done for us. Out of pure respect we should help them find new places to continue their careers. But yes, it's not a MUST, but I wouldn't like that sort of treatment to any of our players.
  11. that's that then... once again, it's been a ride... one which we lost. but the price was a bit too high, that's bidding war for you.
  12. the club is probably trying to up his price before selling
  13. that "it will be sorted out in a few minutes" bs has been said many times already, and hours have passed... i don't think we'll hear anything today
  14. does anybody even care about rep? i've been to many forums and this is the only one that uses a rating system... i guess its purpose is to make people produce more interesting and intelligent posts? anybody who feels the need to neg rep out of spite, you can do that to me
  15. Sorry, but I literally started loling at this How desperate are we for thinking to bring a 45 year old out of retirement... says enough about our current situation and juninho is 38
  16. true... i never thought that seeing chris brown and lil wayne would actually be a pleasure compared to something
  17. are you drunk? or do i just miss the point of the CB video
  18. what does the chris brown video have to do with the man city video? :/
  19. I'm starting to think that maybe AVB sees a problem, but he's been told that there are no funds available for big money signings anymore after Torres and Luiz. I don't think he'd go public with it, hence the "good enough squad" talk. I hope I'm wrong.
  20. "The US House of Representatives is due to vote on a bill to raise the country's debt ceiling, allowing it to borrow more money to cover spending commitments. If it fails to extend the current limit of $14.3 trillion (£8.7tn) dollars, the federal government could find itself struggling to make payments, and risks the loss of its AAA credit rating. The United States is currently spending around $200bn (£122bn) more than it collects in revenue every month." USA going down the toilet
  21. [OT] Is it true that american football's name actually comes from the fact that the ball is a foot long? read it somewhere, dunno [/OT]
