  1. Bookmark this page for highlights: http://www.reddit.com/r/footballhighlights My go-to place when in need for the best moments (and full matches if you will) of football.
  2. Chelsea are aiming to become a retirement home, first Schwarzer, now whispers of even more ancient Friedel.
  3. Very proud of him. He's stepped up for the team big time this second part of the season and now he did it in a cup final in an unfamiliar position. He wasn't a world beater there but I'm still proud of him for being there when needed and doing a job.
  4. I read the pre-match thread and I remember your posts being the most prominent as soon as the line-up was leaked... apart from the usual negative suspects who I won't even mention, because this I expect from them. Wow... no words. I'll just leave it at that.
  5. Can't be arsed to find the posts to quote, but Barbara, I hope you're now ashamed of your pre-match words. And everybody else who beat down the team before we even kicked the ball.
  6. Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres has sent a feisty jibe toward his former manager Jose Mourinho, claiming the Chelsea boss can only be successful when splashing cash. “They’re very different,” he told AS, when comparing Mourinho to Diego Simeone. “It’s difficult to compare, because it’s not the same being on a team where you have players you want, spend the money you want and after that they win, that’s what makes Mourinho. “That’s not easy. And with Simeone the experience you have with Atleti is winning with other resources. "I don't know what Mourinho would do at Atletico or Simeone at Chelsea. What I like is that they are very intelligent to adapt to what they have." Torres joined Chelsea for a staggering £50 million transfer fee in 2011, but fell out of favour under Mourinho.
  7. the fuck is this arc everybody's talking about? I don't have twitter so excuse my ignorance..
  8. "Chelsea FC appalled with the FA's decision on Matic" Chelsea take no shit from no one.
  9. The extension talks arising even though he hasn't won any titles yet. Positive sign from the club.
  10. Maybe your troubles with keeping a job for more than 2 days stems from your early exposure to alcoholic beverages..
  11. I had severe pneumonia as a 1-year old toddler still pissing my undies, and survived. Some say I couldn't sit straight because of all the injections in my swollen arse. Doctors call me a miracle. Hear me? A miracle. You?
  12. Why not, I'm sure you'd do better than @We Hate Scouse during his stint.
  13. Approx. 25% Russians yeah. April 2007: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bronze_Night(don't know how trustworthy wiki sources are, haven't read it myself). And if you want to visit a close European city, then first come to Tallinn (there is a direct bus and train for that from St. Pete's) and then it's easy for example to visit Helsinki or Stockholm from here if you wish.
  14. He is cranky already There have been signs with the kidnapping and illegal jailing of our police agent on the border and record-breaking increase in illegal warplane flights over the Baltic Sea, that NATO fighters have to constantly go to identify. They have had control over our capital city for many years now with a Kreml-minded party in charge, not to mention they also run most of the eastern counties with Russian population majority. April 2007 showed that they can organize mass riots very easily when they want to, because a lot of the people here are mindlessly pro-Russia. Have you ever visited Estonia?
  15. Greetings neighbour! If you promise not to invade Estonia, I will send you a nice bottle of wine (if sanctions don't forbid it). I have an uncle from St. Petersburg, and I was born and lived 18 years 150 km away from St. Petersburg (Narva, the easternmost point of EU, a town with 97% Russian population), so we have a little in common. Btw, favourite player Victor Moses, really? :carlo2:
  16. Epic story just posted on chelseafc.com Saint Diego ... He may strike fear into opposing defenders, but to the kids in this corner of Brazil, Diego Costa is a symbol of what can happen when you give your all. Drogba Mk. 2
  17. Not to mention that his first touch was one of his most lauded skills.
  18. “For an English team, it’s more difficult than other teams,” he said. “The last two English teams to win the Champions League finished sixth and fifth. Chelsea and Liverpool. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11416876/Jose-Mourinho-PSG-wanted-me-as-manager-but-the-timing-wasnt-right.html Love how he dismissed United
  19. I love what this topic has turned into
  20. Tbh I want him back. Or rather I wish he would have worked out here under Mourinho. He reminded me of Zola in the sense that he was also so polite, humble, well-spoken, but magic on the pitch.
