  1. I'd go as far as saying they're worse than Tribal Football. There is NO WAY Carlos could possibly come to Chelsea unless as a coach.
  2. Ridiculous link to Chelsea from Goal.com, but its another piece of speculation you may be interested in:
  3. I feel like a twat. I did the bloody award results and just realised I won two of them

  5. Will be interesting to hear his first views about the club and the squad.
  6. Good signing. Unsure on what implications this may have on the futures of Maka and Lamps, but you can't deny that Deco is a good addition. The first of many, with luck.
  7. I can see some truths in what he is saying. If we try to entertain too much, it will cost us. We need to maintain our ruthless streak, being able to win when the team plays like shit is a nice habit.
  8. Not keen on the source, but its a no-brainer. A new manager needs a face familiar to the Stamford Bridge faithful.
  9. By no extent will he ever become a Chelsea legend but 25 goals is certainly a lasting impression. He didn't score half as many as we'd have liked, but he scored some absolute stunners - Arsenal and Wigan come to mind.
  10. I can't see him leaving, not now Scolari has become the manager.
  11. I agree to some extent. When we signed Mikel, he showed ability and desire to attack, but Mourinho molded him into a more disciplined, defensive player in his first season. He has matured greatly as a footballer and remains an important member of the squad, but I do believe his creative instincts in an attacking sense have been somewhat neutralised by his defensive position. Despite this, because of his strength, skill and simplicity on the ball, I think he is more suited to the holding role and his athleticism allows him to keep on running for 90 minutes.
  12. He's got to come good some time soon. Sheva's had a lot of support and a lot of faith put in him by three managers now, I just hope he proves himself in pre-season and gets a big role next season. No matter how little part he has played since his arrival, he's scored some very important goals, especially in Europe, and is always going to be an important cog in the Chelsea machine while he is with us. He started to show glimpses of his old self in November/December before he suffered that ankle injury, I hope he can regain his confidence and bang away 15 goals next season, which would be a nice return.
  13. Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised. Aesthetically looks superb and is a helluva lot more accessible now.
  14. Good luck to them both I'm sure they'll do brilliant. CFC Legends :cfc:
  15. Right. I'm back now. So I'll count the awards and reveal them in moments
  16. Unlucky Ballack. No offence to the player, but he's got a fucking shite record in finals
  17. He's keen to make a good start. We have a difficult first fixture, a very difficult one in fact. If he can galvanise the team and beat Portsmouth, then that is one hell of a starting block.
  18. Source? Rajkovic is a good young player. He regularly plays for Serbia.
  19. The person who mentioned on the previous page that the way the club are keeping quiet is a good sign. If they had have immediately released a statement saying it was all speculation, I'd be worried. They are going about it VERY professionally. For once.
  20. We're being quiet for two reasons: 1. The transfer market is not officially open 2. The Chief Executive is on holiday
  21. Source? A loan deal would be more beneficial to Chelsea, he looks a top player from what I have seen of him.
  22. Welcome to TC, stick around geezer.
