  1. Alex and Ivanovic have had a lot of money invested in them both to be brought to the Bridge, I doubt those two will be allowed to leave. Ferreira... there is a possibility he may be allowed to go elsewhere. However - if we go after Schweinsteiger, we can negotiate in January and bring him in on a free contract in the summer
  2. That's one of the funniest things I've read this year
  3. Now that's one thing I could see happening, Ollie. Good call there, I've always though Carlo would play his last year back home.
  4. Same. However, I've got faith in our players, especially Anelka.
  5. Our squad is small enough as it is, at the moment, I highly doubt anyone will be allowed to leave until the summer.
  6. I wouldn't be too surprised, to be honest. Ballack and Lahm are missing for them, arguably their two biggest players.
  7. Shouldn't these boo boys be happy Fat Frank isn't playing?
  8. Bruce Buck has come out and said he expects Mancienne to be part of the first team soon.
  9. Well it would be foolish not to bring him back after his little run of form, but I doubt he'll do much. He just needs a good run in the side, like Anelka, and he'll bang them away - its the same for 90% of strikers.
  10. Was absolutely disgusting, Morgan should be banned for life. Best of luck to Hume.
  11. I think we should swap the kits around, have Big Pete play in blue and the outfielders in orange Would be a sight for sore eyes
  12. I think he's fine, just doing what Ferguson does by not letting his top players participate.
  13. Erm... I was joking Fair play mate, I don't do Geography at school anymore
  14. Well three points certainly would be welcome, Newcastle are certainly a better-looking team now than they were a couple of months back.
  15. Whatever it may be, if you would like to discuss the geography of England, please do it elsewhere.
  16. Gutted. Got a phone call from Fabio last night, said he was promoting Robinson back to the first team after Joe Hart pulled out, said I wasn't ready to make the jump yet
  17. I think we will win the game, but Newcastle certainly are unpredictable. Hopefully we can put 4 past them like in Mourinho's first season
  18. On the contrary, I thought he was excellent. I also noticed how JT was also crucified by Miller's pace and yet no-one batted an eyelid
  19. Haha the orange goalkeepers kit as a whole is so garish I want the black shorts instead of the orange ones though
  20. I disagree, in the two PL games he has started, against Villa and West Brom, I think he has looked brilliant, actually.
  21. Chelsea vs Newcastle United Michael Essien and Michael Ballack celebrate as Chelsea beat Newcastle 2-1 at Stamford Bridge, December 2007. Chelsea face Newcastle at Stamford Bridge as they look to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League. Last season, the Blues beat the Magpies both home and away - a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge in December, followed by a 2-0 win at Saint James' Park in May handed the Blues six valuable points in two very difficult affairs. Newcastle have yet to win away from home this season, having taken just 2 points on the road. Chelsea, on the other hand, have a decent record at home, with 11 points from 18 games the current quota of points. The Blues have netted 32 goals and conceded just 4, whilst Newcastle have scored 17 and conceded 22. Can Chelsea continue their good start to the season? Or can Joe Kinnear's side dent their title hopes? Match chat here!
