He's the right age to make the transition in my view. Shevchenko was fantastic in Italian football but made the switch a few years too late. His (relatively little amount of) pace had almost totally deserted him when he came over, and he wasn't in the greatest physical condition either. Neymar is young and after only playing professional top flight football for a few years in Brazil he'll be able to make the change quicker. I genuinely believe this kid could be fantastic for us.

There are some exceptional cases where clubs are very rich outside of this monopoly, but in general, if you were to compare the wage bill and sponsorship deals of the top four clubs in the Premier League with those of the Liga Sagres, and you'd see my point. What I'm getting at is that's why players are always attracted to Spain, England, Germany and Italy to play their club football - names like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munchen, Internazionale and Milan appeal to moreorless every football player in the world. In England, the typical average wage is probably double that of the Liga Sagres.

We have some brilliant utility defenders which makes our defence so strong. The thing I worry about is a lack of similar depth up front and in the midfield.
