  1. Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Cesc Fabregas Drogba when he's in a mardy Cesc Fabregas
  2. Already a topic on Sneijder!!!! And I'd prefer Hamsik
  3. Sturridge can make it as a winger if we are going to play 4-3-3; the fact he scores when he starts is testament to that. But agreed, he is a centre forward and should be played in a 4-4-2. He and Torres could be lethal.
  4. I'd say the best of this generation, for sure. But ever, no way. Sir Bobby will always be the best.
  5. Thankfully this driving ban doesn't apply to his box-to-box runs.
  6. Even so: Sturridge - Torres - Alexis Sanchez or Torres - Sturridge Malouda - Lampard - Ramires - Sanchez I just do not see why people want us to go out and buy five or six players this summer, whereas in reality all we need is a winger (Sanchez), and a new goalkeeper (ie Asenjo).
  7. Terry, regardless of whether he is wearing the armband or otherwise, is always going to be the true England captain; his leadership skills are plainly immense. However, Capello simply will not re-appoint him as captain and I fully expect Our Frank to wear the armband.
  8. One of the greatest strikers in the club's history. Legend. Happy birthday Drog! Score another ten goals for me before the end of the season and I'll love you even more!
  9. All I think we need to do is sign a quality right winger, play 4-4-2 and play Torres with Anelka or Sturridge. No need to go out and spend millions on a young striker when we have one of the most exciting English talents in our number 23.
  10. 3 defeats in five suggests otherwise to me...
  11. The management of the club are treading a fine line between fine business acumen and being a joke. I'll take the latter stance, since they are pricing real fans out of Stamford Bridge and replacing them with tourists in the West Upper...
  12. Largely because he's the captain, and no matter how poor he plays, we always perform better when he's at the back. Leadership qualities are underrated in the simple game that is football.
  13. We went from being 5 points clear to 9 behind in two months... that can happen to United!
  14. Can that guy please go and work for adidas? Seriously? Because I never thought a mock-up could turn me on before seeing that...
  15. If Arsenal go out of the FA Cup this weekend they will be in utter meltdown. They have to play Liverpool and United at the Emirates, and also have to go to White Hart Lane... that potentially could see them record three loses, or at least drop points in two of those games.
  16. As for Terry's performance, I think by some distance he has been at least our best defender this season. Excuse the bias, but I am also struggling to find a better centre back in the Premier League this season. Granted he is more mistake-prone than he once was, but the most-reliable and in-form defenders this season have been Laurent Koscielny, Gary Cahill (both nowhere near Terry's level of consistency or ability, though both are young), Nemanja Vidic (who has been below-par the last couple of months in my opinion, possibly due to injury?), Martin Skrtel (who, in my view, is Liverpool's most-underrated player and by some distance their best defender, despite being a cunt), and then our own Branislav Ivanovic has also been a star. Still, Terry's been by far the best in the league in my opinion, and the fact he's also scored four goals this season already highlights his importance at both ends of the pitch.
  17. I agree with your final point, absolutely. If we are going to play 4-4-2 it is going to require an in-form Florent Malouda and £30 million spent on Alexis Sanchez... or (far less realistically) Gareth Bale.
  18. No, 3rd place is automatic qualification now
  19. To easy to jump up and say that you never stopped believing in the team. Notice how all of the doubters have suddenly been silenced by three excellent results on the bounce? The fact of the matter is that the majority of fans started to lose belief, but for most of us, our faith and support has been unshakable. I hold my hand up and admit that at one point I allowed my heart to rule my head and prematurely wrote us off in the midst of a horrific mid-season capitulation, as did many of you. However, we can all agree that whilst some of us started to lose belief, we still support this team now as much as we ever did. We should learn that supporting this football club is the sporting equivalent of a rollercoaster road! But more to the point, our away support has been amongst the most vocal this season - certainly in the Premier League. Our European crowds have been brilliant as well, and I'm genuinely gutted that money has limited me to only three games this season. Either way it makes me a very proud fan to see fellow supports back the club no matter what. Win or lose? Up the Blues! :cfc:
  20. I think that is incredibly harsh. The man has missed half of the season with various injuries and is still nursing himself to full fitness. It isn't easy to come back from serious injury and then perform brilliantly week-in, week-out; the fact I had my kneecap come through my leg and then be out of football for 15 months is testament to that! Give him time, and give him support, and Lampard will give you goals and assists in return.
  21. Flattering performances and scorelines that don't reflect the game are completely irrelevant in football. The only thing we should be concerned about is the fact we won 3-1 (maybe some of you thought we lost with all the pessimism around here?), and we got three points from the game. Fucking smile!
  22. Essien and Ramires are forming an excellent partnership now :eyebrows:
  23. He isn't a fat bastard though...
  24. Never rated him, and I never will. His only 'talent' is to foul people, seeing as though he can't do much else.
