  1. Play him at CB then because Terry hasn't been very good at organising, either
  2. He's also scored in two of them and I'd rather my striker be anonymous and score than try and kill people and pose no threat to the opposition 'keeper.
  3. Especially after all of his jibes around Rafa winning it in 2013. Very good point. Might be the only way we would get any serious rotation of the squad to incorporate the youngsters. Speaking hypothetically, if we were to end up in the EL next season, you could field a rotational side including first-teamers like Mikel, Ramires, Begovic, Willian, etc. with some of the youngsters and still be competitive enough to go pretty far.
  4. Not what he's saying. Being a doctor ranks pretty low in the football management hierarchy. In terms of a "valuable job" in the football world, doctors are entirely dispensable. Managers like Mourinho are not.
  5. Top four is gone, we have a battle for the top six.
  6. I don't think it's hyperbole - at the minute, I genuinely can't see us winning the EL, have to be honest, mate!
  7. I'd rather have gotten Sparta Prague, Rubin Kazan, S. Bucharest and Basel than any of those five. True. Can't believe we're even talking about this
  8. Nevermind the result, the way the players perform will be the biggest indicator of what's going on behind the scenes.
  9. You're assuming we'd even get that far. We were lucky that we drew shit teams in each round up to the final in 2013.
  10. That isn't what I'm saying, and they do have an obligation to the manager as they are part of his backroom staff. Eva didn't understand the game situation. By going onto the pitch to give treatment, it meant we'd be reduced to nine men. She misread the game situation. There is a difference to being aware of anaphylactic shock, cardic failure, etc., and realising someone has gone down to con the referee into giving a cheap free-kick.
  11. And now we're calling the players "cunts" as well. What a time to be alive.
  12. She doesn't seem to realise that football is a business. Bayern's doctor of 40 years was sacked by Pep and took it with good grace. Have we heard Jon Fearn pipe up at all? Nope. Eva rhymes with diva, afterall. She has a right to complain for her demotion but Mourinho totally has a point: there is a game situation which physios must be aware of.
  13. Just like Victor Moses in 2014 :blue scalf:
  14. By league record alone he is more qualified to do so than Ancelotti, so at this moment in time, I wouldn't swap for an inferior manager.
  15. No improvement in three and a half years. Sorry José, you got this one wrong.
  16. Whatever the question is, Ancelotti is not the answer.
  17. When you have dissident players, it is easier to fire one person than to sell and replace an entire squad. Hence why player power is so prevalent in the bigger clubs on the European circuit. I don't believe Mourinho is an angel, make no mistake, but he, and certainly not us, the fans, deserves better from the players. It is clear, for whatever reason, that they don't want to play for him. Well, in that case, perhaps it would be prudent to remind them they're not playing for Mourinho. They're playing for the 41,000 packed into Stamford Bridge, and the millions more around the world that crowd around radios and watch abysmal-quality illegal streams online. We're the ones being let down and it is about time that a senior player - Terry, I'm looking at you - takes control and takes some responsibility. This is not just Mourinho's fault.
  18. Very hard to do as we'd need to do up to 14 polls....
  19. I don't think Aké will be a "revelation" as until a couple of weeks ago he wasn't even starting for Watford. The last two/three games, he has been good and it's good to see him taking a chance.
  20. Not saying that at all. Don't be so defensive. The point I made is that there is some truth in that supposedly "funny" picture - he hasn't even been as good as his brother has this season, and that worries me.
  21. The boy was class. Last season. This year - not good enough. There is truth and nothing but truth in that.
  22. United were in an identical position and decided not to sack Sir Alex Ferguson. I hope we follow suit.
