  1. I've been watching this kid since he was 17, I don't know how much you've seen of him.
  2. I'd happily compromise and accept di Maria
  3. Precisely, Kakuta isn't good enough. Ronaldo was already tearing defences apart by this stage of his United career.
  4. I get the feeling we're only signing him because he's English.
  5. I haven't watched Italian football for a while, but when he was at Clermont a few seasons back he played exclusively as a right fullback.
  6. Kenny is planning on playing the kids in protest of the fixture pile-up, what a moaning cunt. Stoke played in Israel on a Thursday and then played on a Saturday last weekend.
  7. Barca aren't even a genuine 4-3-3... there are very few teams that are these days. Teams prefer to adopt 4-3-3 variants with two strikers and 'one in the hole,' but that is largely because there are very few talented wingers in the world anymore! I personally don't think we even need wingers. I'd prefer to see us play 4-3-1-2 with Mata behind two genuine strikers. Cech Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole Ramires - Meireles - Lampard Mata Anelka/Sturridge - Torres/Drogba
  8. I've been too busy playing Modern Warfare 3 with uni work, sorry! Poll's up!
  9. @LDN, he just can't play for us until he's 18. Nothing to stop the paperwork going through.
  10. Hmm that's weird. Have you minimised the forum categories accidentally, perhaps?
  11. Only players I'd sign from any of those clubs are the Liverpool ones I mentioned (Reina and Kuyt). From City I'd sign Kolarov, Silva and Balotelli. Then I'd also have Bale. Cech Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole Essien Lampard - Silva Mata - Balotelli - Bale Subs: Reina, Alex, Kolarov, Ramires, Torres, Kuyt, Sturridge
  12. If going by form, the back five should be; Hart Richards - Taylor - Jones - Baines
  13. Chelsea players - guilty until proven innocent, then guilty anyway. Other team players - innocent until proven guilty, but all is forgiven and forgotten anyway. Wayne Rooney - saint-like altruist, perfect disciplinary record and inspirational role model to all people across the world.
  14. Could actually have ten goals this season already. That will come with age and experience, however.
  15. That'll just be for the next few weeks while his nose heals I presume. He might then wear it for a while after as protection. The helmet is entirely precautionary. I remember he was only to due to wear it a couple of years, but after he had a bang on the head playing for the Czech Republic in late 2008 (I think it was against Belarus) he decided it would be best to wear it. There is also the idea of it being a psychological form of protection. Since I injured my knee in 2004, I can't play in goal without a brace on my left knee, otherwise my brain just refuses to acknowledge any movement of the knee which would potentially damage it, ie. diving. Petr's helmet can therefore be a source of confidence for him, as part of some psychological attachment I can absolutely sympathise with.
  16. I'm beginning to lose confidence in Torres myself. Every step forward comes with two steps in a backwards direction, presently.
  17. Barcelona will still win La Liga with something to spare.
  18. Unfortunately it didn't work mate! Is it only on your HTC you have the problem? In that case, which browser does you phone use?

  20. It has to be a fake... he is still wearing the 2011 response pro allrounds for club and country.
  21. Why do I get the impression you are only saying this because he is Brazilian? Neymar is no superstar. Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi are superstars. He would never reach their level. He will become a good player like Nani or Robinho, he will never be truly outstanding. Why do I think this? Because he is an egotistical and arrogant young man with the wrong mentality. Ronaldo and Messi are born winners, with an incredibly mindset, set on glory and personal performance and achievement. Neymar doesn't have the same sort of self-motivation to succeed, in bad games he sulks and does nothing. He will never be world class. Don't get me wrong I think the boy is a talent, I just think he is being overrated as the next big thing out of Brazil because of how poor the national team is, presently.
  22. But you'd rather spend £40 million on a player for the 'now' and let the likes of Sturridge and McEachran sink into nothingness? Purposefully We have goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, wingers and strikers, and we also have liabilities, Kalou fits under the latter.
  23. Ugh, just ban him already, or let him go. Personally I think the evidence suggests he is not guilty... Ferdinand wasn't even aware of any abuse during the game, then all of a sudden after it was brought to his attention he began to play the villain. Terry would have to be ridiculously stupid to look forward to 'clearing [his] name' - and he'd be even dimmer to spout racist abuse next to the referee... especially next to Ashley Cole and Anelka! Then again, he is a footballer.
  24. KP just likes to be cricket's controversial bad-boy, I suppose he's sad that the Pakistani cricketers have been found guilty because it has put a large shadow on his reputation as the outspoken sort. Kevin Pietersen is no longer my favourite England cricket player anymore anyway.... now it's all about Kiesey!!!
