Down to the discretion of the Administrators when it comes to narrowing it down to a final five or six. If there are that number of people who have clearly had enough nominations (usually 4+) they automatically go on the poll. Then, out of the remaining nominees, it's up to me, Steve, Jim, Kez, Sh0n3x or oxfordblues to make the final call, based on the contribution and activity of the nominated members. That even said, I must have totally missed you off, so my bad But you get nominated every month so I'm sure you'll survive.

^ very fair point. I had never seen a particularly petulant streak in Luiz before, but his reaction (and dissent) that led to his yellow card, and then his reaction to Rafael's kick suggests he isn't as mature as we thought.

My favourite award is one called "The People's Choice Award", where the person with the most votes overall wins a special award as what is technically the Overall Member of the Year. Fulham Broadway won the first one in 2009. I then won it in 2010, 2011 and 2012 Who will win it in 2013?

People are jumping the gun to either extreme here. Higuain isn't "shit". But is he better than van Persie, Aguero or Suarez? In my personal opinion, no. My major concern is he is totally unable the hold the ball up, and he is a pretty lethargic striker. To put it in a way for people who don't watch Real matches, or those who do and obviously pay no attention, he is one lazy bastard. If you are frustrated by Torres' lethargy, then you are barking up the wrong tree with Higuain. He gets caught offside more often than Kalou did, and his heading ability is probably even worse than Ramires'. He is a clinical finisher with either foot, granted, but he is another type of striker who plays on the shoulder of the last defender. Judging by how badly Torres and Shevchenko turned out, do we really want another one of these? In my view we're better off keeping the likes of Ba and Lukaku as our forwards - nice and direct. I don't particularly rate Higuain, but by no measure have I called him "shit". He is a good player that would do well at a team like Man City that would suit his individual strengths (Higuain is a bit of a poacher and revels in support from out wide, so Mancini's system would utilise him pretty well indeed, the same way Torres would have probably starred at City and Dzeko would have possibly been a hero at Chelsea, but that story is for a different day).

Not a fan of Higuain. Poor work rate and goes missing in the "big" games. I've not seen enough of him to make an absolute judgement, but I've seen enough to know he is only a slightly better version of Torres.

Well, I'm one of the Admins, my vote really counts as about 57, so, nice one!

Let's be serious for one minute. J'adore Eden Hazard, and he has incredible potential. But will he become as good as Ronaldo or Messi? It's possible, but in my opinion improbable. Ronaldo and Messi are absolute freaks of nature. But I genuinely believe EH17 can become the next best player in world football. He definitely has that ability.
